As you may know well known blogger and vlogger Fleur de Force has teamed up with Eylure to create a collection of four very wearable and affordable sets of false eyelashes. Think subtle, volume and length boosting strips and bundles of lashes that naturally define the eye, if ever there was a collection of false eyelashes suitable for day wear this is it. The good news is that the Fleur de Force for Eylure are permanent and range from £5.25-£6.95, let's have a further look at three of four designs shall we?
Simply Fleur (£5.95) - a delicate band that features lots of tiny bands of tapered lashes that form a natural yet fluttery look. The lashes are so lightweight yet add a subtle volume and length boost, if you find false eyelashes fiddly and a nightmare to apply this is the set for you. The light design is a breeze to apply with tweezers, in the same vain if you find false eyelashes to be uncomfortable due to weight this is a set worth investing in - they are basically weightless, so much so you'll forget you are wearing them at all.
Fleur and Fabulous (£5.95) - a traditional and somewhat thicker banded lash that features an intricate criss cross design that provides an almost camouflage effect, meaning it is all but impossible to detect the false lash when applied. This is the design for those who want a more dramatic lash both in volume and length - a great choice for evening wear or any special occasion. Again this is a fairly lightweight design but as the band is a little more robust, it is a little trickier to apply. On the plus side unlike some other lash brands this design is not prone to lifting at the corners.
Couture Fleur (£6.95) - strip lashes aren't for everyone or every occasion for that matter, Individual lashes give you the freedom to add as many or as little bundles as you chose, creating an entirely custom look. The Couture Fleur individual lashes come in three lengths: short, medium and long. I like to add a few bundles of shot and medium lashes to the outer corners of my eyes for extra definition. The beauty of individual lashes is that you can apply sparsely for a subtle, natural look or apply all the way along the lash line for a full, dramatic lash effect that would be perfect for a night on the tiles. Admittedly the most time consuming of all the designs but once you get the hang of individual lashes there is no going back - all you need is tweezers, patience and a little practise.
Within the collection there is also a 3/4 design Fleur Loves, which I am told is Fleur's personal favourite design hence the name. An almost undetectable design that adds a feline like look to any eye shape or make up look. I will be popping into Boots to pick up a set in the near future and will of course report back.
As with all Eylure lash designs the Fleur de Force Collection are beautifully made, with each design featuring tapered lashes for a natural finish. Each set can be used at least three times with the proper care and comes complete with not only a step by step application guide but also a vial of glue (great for popping into a handbag or for travel).
You can find the Fleur de Force for Eylure Collection exclusively via Boots - link and Eylure - link.
