Eylure Halloween Collection 2015

It may not be acceptable just yet to post or be overly excited about Christmas but Halloween I think we can all just about manage? Long time readers will know that Autumn - particularly Halloween and Guy Fawkes night are two of my favourite events to look forward to. This year Eylure have launched two limited edition sets of false eyelashes to make dressing up for Halloween a little easier. Unlike all out face paint or even a costume, I'd imagine both designs would be acceptable for office wear?

"Bring out your inner glamour-puss with these purr-fectly cute lashes."

First up we have Eylure Halloween Cat Face Lashes - a cute and somewhat basic design. A delicate cat face, constructed of foil and diamanté has been delicately placed upon a standard set of false eyelashes. The design is fairly simply yet effective, a less than obvious design as you can only detect the cat design when the wearer closes their eyes or perhaps looks down. Cat design aside the lashes are well made, light weight, with a thick band and full on/long lash design - they are a suit all and in the instance of Halloween wear everywhere design. In my mind these are the perfect lazy option, quick, easy and certainly a conversation piece.

"Veiled lashes, inspired by a Venetian masquerade. You shall go to the ball..."

Unlike the above design the Eylure Halloween Carnival Lashes are constructed from mesh and feature a sharp, tapered design. The idea is that once applied to the eyes they appear soft, fluttery yet make an impact. They somewhat remind me of butterflies and tutus, The mesh is surprisingly lightweight but the thick band design does take a little getting used to in terms of application. Personally I recommend practising before any big event and using tweezers. The Eylure Halloween Carnival Lashes would be the perfect addition to any Witch, Cat or generally dark/vampy costume this coming October.

Both designs will be launching later this month via Eylure and will cost £6.99 per set.
