During the Summer months thanks to allergies (mainly pollen) my eyes become beyond irritated - even the simplest of tasks, such as applying eye cream becomes an irritant. It seems like everything and anything, from the months of April to September will cause my eyes to water and sting. In some instances, I simply ease up on the offending product i.e I'll skip mascara/eye make up every now and then, however for the sake of my future skin and to ward off the first signs of ageing, I refuse to skimp on eye cream. Luckily I've found a gentle formula that won't leave the eyes watering nor will result in a huge dent in your bank balance - let me share a few thoughts on Simple Kind To Eyes Soothing Eye Balm.
Simple Kind To Eyes Soothing Eye Balm features a light, almost gel like consistency that doesn't irritate even the most sensitised of skin. As it is fragrance free it does not cause my eyes to stream, all the while being quickly absorbed. On the skin it is practically weightless, making it ideal for applying make up on top off should you wish. Technically Simple Kind To Eyes Soothing Eye Balm is aimed for day time use; at the moment I am using it both night and day as everything else is resulting in irritation and a little hydration has to be better than none, right?
Despite the thin, cooling texture Simple Kind To Eyes Soothing Eye Balm is rather hydrating, as well as gently comforting and somewhat plumping the skin in one quick step. What may surprise you is the ingredient line up; yes Simple Kind To Eyes Soothing Eye Balm costs a mere £3.65 but it contains two vitamins and three skin loving nutrients - all of which are in line with the Simple mantra in being kind to the skin. To soften and repair the skin we have Pro-Vitamin B5, and to generally improve the condition of the skin there is Vitamin E. This is along with: Jojoba Oil to soothe and protect, Shea Butter to nurture and replenishe and Bisabolol to soothe, calm and reduce puffiness of the eye area. As a general eye moisturiser this is great - ideal for sensitive skin, youthful complexions and for anyone who wants a great, every day eye cream. I must stress that it does not however contain any anti-ageing technology but then again not everyone needs nor wants such technology.
If you find that other eye creams/moisturisers leave your eye area red, itchy or generally irritated this could be the product that you have been waiting for.

I've used this one for years but it doesn't seem to get much of a mention online. A lot of eye creams sting my eyes but the simple ones are great for me. I use this is the morning because it's so great under make up and the age resisting one from the regeneration line in the evening, Em x

I love this eye cream for day time use, once I found it I've never found anything that works quite as well for my sensitive eyes.

This is my favourite eye cream, and I've used many! Not only does this help with my sensitive eyes, but it's not as thick as most eye creams, which I love. :D
