Le Couvent Des Minimes Smile Lip Balms

Le Couvent Des Minimes Smile Lip Balms

We all love lip balm, surely that's the one thing we can all agree is a beauty necessity? It's the one product I am more likely to be a tad more adventurous with as well it is only lip balm. I have a balm for every occasion - tinted, medicated, extra nourishing and of course the odd novelty offering. My latest finding is one that everyone who enjoys natural extracts, beautiful fragrances and an abundance of moisture. Let me introduce you to the new Le Couvent Des Minimes Smile Lip Balms. Prepare to want them all!

The new Le Couvent Des Minimes Smile Lip Balms are quick and easy to use thanks to the tube and nozzle design, there is no mess and no need to use your fingers for application. The slanted applicator glides the balm on to the lip and dispenses just enough product each time - perfect. As an added bonus each Le Couvent Des Minimes Smile Lip Balms comes presented within retro and very French inspired packaging, which I would deem to be unisex - soft lips are for all.

If you are selective over lip product fragrances (and I don't blame you if you are), the good news is that the Le Couvent Des Minimes Smile Lip Balms comes in four variants: Rose & Berries, Citrus, Apple and Pear and Orange Blossom. I have Le Couvent Des Minimes Smile Lip Balm in Rose & Berries which has a light, berry fragrance (I can't really detect the rose note) that is sweet and oddly very familiar. I think it is the ideal choice for the upcoming Autumn.

Now onto the real reason I rate the Le Couvent Des Minimes Smile Lip Balms, the formula. A blend of 10% Shea butter to nourish and of course deeply condition the lips, with Apricot Seed Oil to protect the lips from all climates, coupled with Marshmallow extract to gently soften the lips. Despite the three core ingredients being what most would deem to be intensive the overall texture is light and silken. It glides onto the lips, is quickly absorbed, not at all greasy and oddly not overly glossy either. As an added bonus the Le Couvent Des Minimes Smile Lip Balms stay on the lips - no slipping or sliding and continually moisturise for up to three hours per application. The perfect balm for stashing in your pocket, handbag or car for the upcoming Autumn/Winter seasons and at just £5 per tube it is an affordable touch of luxury.

  6. How moisturising would you say these are? As in from 0 to staying on overnight? They look divine, and definitely a hand bag staple!
