I am good to myself, some may say too good. When I purchased a bottle of the newly launched Jo Malone Shower Oils, I also treated myself to a jar of Jo Malone Geranium & Walnut Body Scrub. This body scrub is so good that I'm pretty sure Angels sing each time I open the jar. It is so good that one quick scoop quickly allows me to forget that I paid £40 a jar...like I said I do enjoy treating myself.
As you may have noticed all of the Jo Malone Bath and Body products have underwent a make over? In are new frosted stripes that really reflect the sophisticated ethos of the brand, not to mention it looks rather great on my bathroom shelf too. Speaking of things new Jo Malone Geranium & Walnut Body Scrub is the newest addition to the brands body scrub line up, the scent has been specifically created to compliment all of the existing Jo Malone fragrances. Pretty clever non?
The scent of Jo Malone Geranium & Walnut Body Scrub is lightly aromatic and delicately floral at the same time, it doesn't overpower (which I guess is the point) and is the perfect balance of the two notes. For those wondering, no it doesn't smell of nuts - that was a worry of mine too!
The scrub itself is wonderful; a thick, luxurious texture that is creamy and gentle on the skin, all the while effectively polishing the skin. From the first use I noticed that all traces of dead and dry skin was removed, revealing softer and smoother skin - you can't really ask for more, can you? As an added bonus Jo Malone Geranium & Walnut Body Scrub does not contain microbeads, the exfoliant benefits are provided from fragments of Walnut Shell.
Body scrubs don't often come more luxurious than this, that is for sure.
