Today we bid adieu to the Weekly Favourites feature, this will be the last stand alone post of this type paving way for a new series next week. Until then let me share my last selection of weekly favourites (sob,sob)...
A few days ago I finished my beloved Tom Ford Spanish Pink Lipstick and immediately replaced it, it is what I deem my off duty pink. It doesn't matter where I am going or what I am wearing it always looks good, it wears really well and is one of the most comfortable formulations I own. It has only just set in that I talk about this shade fairly regularly yet I have never reviewed or featured it fully! I will of course remedy this travesty (slight exaggeration) later this week.
For evening wear I have been teaming Tom Ford Spanish Pink Lipstick with a quick slick of Too Faced Melted Metal Liquified Metallic Lipstick in Melted Metallic Débutante - a mouthful to say and newly launched. This glides on to the lips offering a surprisingly pigmented and nourishing textured lip gloss that is long wearing. The shade Melted Metallic Débutante is a mid toned pink come nude that works well both on its own and layered over similar shades for a plumping effect. Again I will pop up a full review with swatches in the coming days.
My other most reached for products include: Clinique Cheek Pop in Pink Pop - a dusty mid toned pink that both brightens and defines the cheek area. Not only is this one of the most beautifully presented products ever but the formula reigns supreme too - long wearing with great colour pay off. I've found myself applying Barry M Flawless Light Reflecting Concealer almost daily - I like that it is not too heavy yet brightens and conceals my under eye area without settling into creases, you must try this out. For my nails it has been a less is more approach with a quick slick of YSL Orange Pop La Lacque Couture - it supplies both a hint of a tint as well as creating a glossy polished look. I'm rather hooked on this approach.
My scented favourites include The Library of Fragrance Mahogany Cologne - an odd scent I'll give you that but a very familiar and spicy fragrance that layers well with other fragrances that have green notes. It goes without saying that I am obsessed with this cologne brand and hope to purchase the fruity cocktail based scents next! Speaking of obsessions you will never find me without a hand cream on my person - my current favourite is the aromatic Crabtree & Evelyn Tarocco Orange Hand Therapy Cream. This creamy concoction is beautifully scented yet deeply nourishes and protects the skin in one quick step. I'm a little annoyed at myself for not trying it sooner.
And that is a wrap folks!
I'm sad to see this feature go but looking forward to seeing what will be coming next!

Woah, love this post. I had been wondering about the Clinique blush and especially the YSL nail tint - seemed like an amazing idea but I didn't know anyone that had tried it before, I'm definitely getting one. Also - OMG THE CRABTREE & EVELYN HANDCREAM - my sister gave me a set of the avocado, olive and basil one and when I laughed at the brand she just said "I know.. try it." Changed my life- amazing hand cream.
