Weekly Favourites

I think after next week I will retire the Weekly Favourites feature (I can't end on a uneven number - it would forever haunt me), truthfully I think it has had its day and I have plans for new and more exciting features. Until then let me share what I have been enjoying lately...

Weekly Favourites

Not one but two blushes make the cut this week, first up I want to recommend the new Clinique Cheek Pop in Melon Pop - a light, subtle coral that is not ideal for everyday wear and utterly flattering all the while being matte. Next up we have Dior Tie Dye Blush in Coral Sunset, at first I was hesitant to purchase it given the hefty price tag but this is the most perfect, bright yet wearable coral blush I own. I have lost count to how often I have reached for it and can truly say it has been worth every penny.

As you can see I've been digging coral hues lately which has not escaped my lip choice - Dior Tie Dye in Coral Trip, a bright and creamy, glossy lipstick that is both fun and comfortable to wear. If you enjoy moisturising lipsticks this is one to investigate.

For my eye make-up it has been a case of less is more, a quick slick of MAC Paint Point in Stormy Pink, lashings of mascara and I'm good to go. If you have yet to try MAC Paint Pots and want a subtle yet smoky shade Stormy Pink is your gal.

To know me is to know that before bed and after my morning shower I slather myself in Bio-Oil, what started off as a preventative step against stretch marks has become a staple within my routine. My skin has never felt nor looked better and guess what? No, new stretch marks!

If you are looking for a budget yet hydrating and soothing eye cream, may I recommend Superdrug's Vitamin E Nourishing Eye Cream. It gently hydrates and plumps the skin and is great for easily irritated skin. No it doesn't offer much in anti-ageing technology but again not all of us are on the look out for such attribute. Sadly I can not find this online but it is easily found in-store.

I've not self tanned in quite some while but rather I have been applying Urban Decay Naked Skin Beauty Balm in Bronze as an instant self tanner. As it is a tinted BB Cream it gently bronzes the skin all the while protecting an perfecting. Admittedly it is not the cheapest bronzing option but if you have a tube and don't enjoy it as a face product, it is always good to know that it can have other uses?

Lastly I have been enjoying the whole Body Shop Virgin Mojito collection, namely the smaller size of the Body Butter which I have been carting around my bag as a hand cream. If you enjoy zesty and fresh fragrances this is a must try but you will have to quick as it is a limited edition range!
