The UK highstreet is a wonderful place and right now it seems that plenty of exciting and emerging beauty brands are slowly but surely winning over the beauty world. If you are looking to try something new, let us share our favourite picks of the crop - all of which you can pick up from either Boots or Superdrug and won't break the bank.
Lottie London - Trust us when we say this is a brand you will be hearing and seeing a lot more of. The newest brush range offers professional quality brushes and nail products in an array of pretty pastel shades. Yes they are what we would deem "Instagram worthy" but are of the highest quality - wonderfully constructed with sturdy handles, fluffy brush heads that both blend and scrub up well after each wash as well as being free of splaying and shedding. They are also entirely affordable with prices ranging from £3.99 for nail files and £19.99 for an entire brush set. You can find the entire range via Superdrug - link.
The Library of Fragrance - If unusual fragrances are your calling then you are in luck because The Library of Fragrance (Demeter Fragrance in other regions) is now available via Boots. If you can dream you can pretty much bet that The Library of Fragrance will have it on offer. The beauty of this range is that each scent is a single note meaning you can mix and match as many fragrances from within the range to create your own unique fusion. Again this is a well priced brand at just £15 a bottle via Boots - link.
Elegant Touch Nail Apothecary - Elegant Touch have long been the go to brand for fun, stick on nails, well the brand's newest expansion is Elegant Touch Nail Apothecary. A range of six, affordable yet salon quality nail care products that have been designed to offer profession results all within the comfort of your home. The six products to choose or collect are: Elegant Touch Nail Apothecary Cuticle Eliminator, Elegant Touch Nail Apothecary Cuticle Elixir, Elegant Touch Nail Apothecary 24K Gold Ridge Filler, Elegant Touch Nail Apothecary Tough Flex Base Coat, Elegant Touch Nail Apothecary Super Matte Top Coat and Elegant Touch Nail Apothecary Gel Effect Top Coat. The gel top coat is one of the best of its type. You can shop the entire range via Boots, with prices ranging from £6.95-£8.95 - link.
Kitsch Hair Ties - All of us with long hair most likely rely on hair ties if not daily, at least regularly. Forget boring hair bands that cause snags, kinks in the hair and in some cases headaches and purchase a pack of Kitsch Hair Ties. Each pack contains five beautifully designed hair elastics that look as good worn on the wrist as they do in the hair. You can shop all the designs via Boots for £7.50 per pack - link.
Essence - Admittedly not the newest brand (nor available via Superdrug nor Boots) on the block but one that doesn't get nearly enough attention - from budget friendly nail and lip colours, as well as offering great alternatives to higher end products. Annoyingly they do not have a UK eCommerce site as of yet but you can find Essence stocked within Wilko stores nationwide.
Colab - Arguably one of the best dry shampoos full stop regardless of price point; the beauty brain child of Ruth Crilly from A Model Recommends offers fun, fruity and floral solutions to greasy hair without costing the earth. You can also select from two formulas - Invisible for hair that is easily weighed down or Volume for a little more oomph. Let this be your next dry shampoo purchase.
What new brand have you been championing lately?
- This post contains both press samples and purchased items.
Oh, I'd love to live in the UK just for the cool brands (and great prices) you have there *-*

I like the concept of this post, but as a teen I doubt I could afford to spend £7.50 on some hair ties. However the brushes are definitely at a fantastic price! I'll definitely check them out x

I recently found the COlab dry shampoo in a Rexall and am absolutely loving it, the smell and the texture it gives hair and it also does really well at soaking up oil for 2nd or 3rd day hair :)
