So it's pay day and we all deserve a treat don't we? Obviously I won't be purchasing everything above - heck a gal's go rent to pay and a face to feed! In a dream world everything above would be coming home with me tomorrow but until that lottery win happens I'll settle with treating myself to just one or two pieces...
1, REN Wake Wonderful Night Time Facial (£32) - a clever serum that brightens and tones the skin overnight, to create soft glowy skin. Doesn't this sound like the lazy gal's dream? Next to no effort, I can sleep while works and will awaken to brighter skin. Consider me sold!
2, I'm not sure what I want from Grown Alchemist yet, I just know that it is a skin care brand that I am keen to try out sooner rather than later. If you are familiar with the product line and have any recommendation (or misses for that matter) do let me know. You can view the entire product range via Space.NK - link.
3, As many will know I enjoy fragrance, perhaps a little more than the average person so I do have a few scents topping my to buy list which includes Diptyque Eau Duelle Eau de Toilette (£58). I have tested this so many times in Space.NK yet never took the plunge. If you enjoy spicy yet very unisex scents this is one to try!
4, I keep saying I won't purchase any more candles as frankly I have more than any one person should really have yet I feel that sooner or later Diptyque Ambre Candle (£40) will be coming home with me soon. This is a warm scent that smells as great in the Summer as it does comforting in the cooler months.
5, I need a full sized bottle of Jo Malone English Pear and Freesia Cologne (£85) in my life as soon as possible, I was gifted with a teeny tiny vial of such scent in a goody bag not so long ago and let's just say an obsession was born. It is light, floral and slightly fruity - I can not think of a more ideal carefree Summer scent.
6,Bella Freud Ginsberg is God Candle (£40) will most likely be my treat this month - I really like the strong and somewhat herbal aroma not to mention the packaging really speaks to me. Don't ask ha!
7, Dior Addict Lip Glow (£24), tell me do I need this product? I've heard lots of people say they love it as it adapts using the skins natural pH levels to create a custom shade. I am intrigued yet have not purchased it - I always think products like this can be a little gimmicky? If you have Dior Lip Glow I'd love to hear your thoughts and of course read your reviews!
8, I have lots of weaknesses (help me ha!), one such is tapered facial brushes anything that can help create a sculpted look with ease will forever tempt me. At the moment I am lusting over the Charlotte Tilbury Powder & Sculpt Brush (£35) - dinky yet well made and could be what my contouring dreams are made of.
9, Tom Ford Private Blend fragrances are the epitome of luxury, there are very few within the huge line up that I don't enjoy. Admittedly most are dark and best suited to evening wear but Tom Ford Azure Lime Eau de Parfum is a little different - light, zesty and very fruity, I dare you not to be seduced by it!
10, One last fragrance - I promise. Newly launched is Chanel Chance Eau Vive, said to be a zesty floral that is captivating and unlike any other Chanel scent offering. I am so eager to try this on counter as a huge fan of the original Chanel Chance I can't imagine I will be disappointed!
What is topping your wish list at the moment?
The Ren Facial seems right up my ally! I desperately want the new Charlotte Tilbury Norman Parkinson collection that released today but it is so pricy :(

I love the dior lip glow. I have had the pink one in the past and have now bought the coral shade. It gives a very natural sheen to the lips and leaves a subtle stain as it fades. I have bought this for a lot of friends, who are now cursing me as they also love it, but not the price tag! For me this is definitely a desert island product! L xx
ReplyDeleteThe Dior Lip Glow is a gorgeous must have product! It's nourishing on the lips and adds a subtle wash of colour which as they have said adapts to you lip colour. It looks as dreamy as the packaging and to try it is to love it!
ReplyDeleteI got a Chanel Eau Vive sample and was disappointed the scent was underwhelming and the longevity of the scent was poor performing. Definitely sample it first.
ReplyDeleteI was really disappointed by the Chance Eau Vive, but I am a huge lover of the Eau Tendre (its my smell, I go through bottles of the stuff)
ReplyDeleteRight now on my Wish List is Jo Malone Peony and Blush, It's so floral and sweet, just totally me! But I would also love a bottle of the Wood Sage and Sea Salt... so cant decide if I should get both in the 30ml but then only have 60ml of product for 100ml price... help :(!
But I shouldnt be buying anything, Just treated myself to the Bobbi Brown Face Brush and a new MAC limited edition blush.. I need to stay away!

I have the Grown Alchemist Hand Cream but really am trying to get rid of it as I don't use hand cream (I know bad me... would you like it =P)
ReplyDeleteAlso, I did a review on Dior Lip Glow as I love it and have a back up tube - http://cherriessballet.blogspot.co.uk/2014/08/dior-lip-glow-glowing-review.html
I do find Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfector Balm to give a similar effect (03 My Pink) but nicer packaging and cheaper. However the size and product you get makes me wonder if I should just continue with Dior!
