Let me begin by saying I am not the biggest nail polish fan nor collector, I enjoy painting my nails now and then but don't have the patience or skill to make it a daily let alone weekly occurrence. However every now and then a new collection comes along and suddenly I have a newly found interest and enthusiasm for nail polish - the OPI Hawaii Collection has did just that, six new and very easy to wear and collect shades. As I seldom finish a full bottle of nail polish I purchased the OPI Hawaii Collection - Little Hulas set, four dinky yet bright nail colours that are sure to get a lot of wear and attention this coming Summer.
I'm sure you don't need me to tell you that OPI polishes are wonderfully formulated, thick yet quick to dry, not prone to chipping and are a breeze to apply. Admittedly OPI polishes are a tad on the pricey side with the average shade costing £8 per bottle, sometimes it really is a case of you get what you pay for and the quality is certainly there. The good news is that with each major OPI collection they do launch mini collections, normally quads with the four key polishes for just over £10. They are the ideal size to not only try before you commit to a full sized bottle but for those who travel a lot or are simply picky. Like I said how often do you actually finish any one nail polish?
The OPI Hawaii Collection - Little Hulas set includes the following shades: Suzi Shops & Islands Hop, That's Hula-rious, Lost My Bikini In Molokini, Aloha From OPI. OPI Suzi Shops & Islands Hop is a beautiful milky, blue toned sugar pink that is opaque in two quick coats, if you enjoy OPI Mod About You this may be one worth investigating. If you purchase one OPI polish this Summer let it be OPI That's Hula-rious - a beautiful, bright yet mint green that again is somewhat pastel and opaque in two coats. Forget Essie Mint Candy Apple this is the only green polish I want in my stash. OPI Lost My Bikini In Molokini is my least favourite of the bunch, a deep almost royal purple polish with a creme finish. The good news is that it applies like a dream and is oddly flattering. Lastly we have OPI Aloha From OPI, a bright red based coral that sizzles with a tan and on deeper complexions - this will be my pedicure shade for the foreseeable future.
OPI Hawaii Collection - Little Hulas is a great little set that provides you with more than enough polishes to see you through the Summer season and beyond with ease. I can recommend it enough, especially the shade OPI That's Hula-rious - I am obsessed.

I've just ordered this (and managed to get it for about £8!) and I can't wait to get my hands on it, hopefully it should arrive tomorrow. I love OPI nail varnishes, they're great quality and last really well, I've had a few shades for years now and they haven't gone gloopy or separated. I do only tend to buy them when I can get them reduced though as they're actually around £12 x
