Much like my elder sister, I have long hair - long hair that tangles easily and is what most would deem unruly. A few days ago my sister spoke about a kid specific hair de-tangler that she had purchased in a moment of panic, that turned out to be a great product. Well I'm here to say that this is not a fluke, some of the best de-tangling products I have owned and used have been aimed at children. If you struggle with knotted hair then may I recommend Johnson's No More Tangles range?
Not only is the Johnson's No More Tangles collection well priced (on average £2 per product) but it is also widely available (Boots, Superdrug and supermarkets), not to mention super gentle. What sets the Johnson's No More Tangles range aside from other children aimed products is that they are not heavily scented - great for sensitive noses, scalps and skin. The fragrance is very typical of Johnson's regular baby products - light, fresh and perhaps best described as lightly floral. However you care to describe it, I'm sure you'd agree it is inoffensive.
Johnson's No More Tangles collection includes: baby shampoo, baby conditioner, baby leave in conditioner in both spray and cream form. Typically I skip the Johnson's No More Tangles Baby Conditioner and use something a little more heavy duty, however if you have fine and easily weighed down hair this could be a great budget friendly option. The Johnson's No More Tangles Baby Shampoo is a great, light but deeply cleansing shampoo - it also doubles up as a brush cleansing option should you wish. Personally I don't believe that the shampoo aids the combing out process but it is a good product none the less.
The stand out items in my opinion are both of the Johnson's No More Tangles Leave in Conditioners - I own and use both. If you have thick hair that requires extra nourishment the Johnson's No More Tangles Leave in Conditioner is the product for you. It is a little heavier in texture than the spray in option yet not at all greasy. In my experience it not only great for adding slip to the hair for ease of combing but it somewhat defines and keeps my waves frizz free. For both convenience and those with finer hair the Johnson's No More Tangles Leave in Conditioner Spray is a must. It doesn't leave the hair sticky nor bogged down with product, rather it makes the whole de-tangling process a breeze, even after swimming - yes really!
If you struggle with knotted hair, give this collection a whirl - I think you will be pleasantly surprised!

I was really drawn to the packaging of this. The colour is so pretty and I am a big sucker for packaging. I like to use gentle products on my hair so sometimes I tend to opt for baby shampoo when I need a quick refresh for my hair. My hair can get tangly at times so will probs be beneficial for me to try this out and move on from the original one!
ReplyDeleteThanks for reviewing, Hope you have a lovely day ♥

My hair is so fine, so when I used to have long hair, knots were my daily struggle. I too found myself often reaching for the kids shampoo and detangling spray. It works wonders for fine, long tangle-prone hair! The Johnson's original baby hairecare range is fab so I can only imagine how amazing this is for knotty hair!

My hair is shoulder length now but for many many years it was half way down my back. For some reason I would often find a ball of tangled hair at the base of my head/top of my neck. I have no idea how it managed to get itself into such a mess! One time I actually thought I was going to have to cut it out and give myself a mini undercut, but I managed to brush it out after quite some time! x
