Many brands have tried to fill the gap that borders make-up and skin care, truthfully very few have succeeded. One product that does just that and is somewhat of a make-up artists must have is MAC Mineralize Timecheck Lotion. A deeply nourishing, optically blurring, silky serum like product that can be worn alone for a much needed moisture boost or used as a primer to create a beautiful base. I will state from the get go that trying is believing with this product!
As much as I don't really like the frosted glass packaging (I find frosted glass difficult to touch, yes I'm a little odd) I can not fault the overall design. The pump bottle dispenses just enough product each and every time minimising product waste, mess or spill. I also like that the cap locks meaning even in transit you should be free from leakages.
Now MAC Mineralize Timecheck Lotion is not just your typical primer, oh no it can be used as a stand alone product (much like a moisturiser) to create a light radiant and fresh glow to the skin. It plumps and adds radiance to the skin all the while blurring imperfections in one quick step. You can also mix a little in with a tinted moisturiser, foundation or BB Cream to create a more radiant and glowing finish to the skin. It really does create the most healthy, youthful and fresh look to the skin I have ever seen or achieved from one product without the need for shimmer or glitter particles. I should also mention that this photographs well on the skin (with or without make-up), as there is no SPF you don't have to worry about flashback nor does the radiance boosting effect translate as oily/greasy on camera.
Like I said you really need to try this to see and feel the effects in person but if you are feed up of heavy and uncomfortable primers this is the a breathe of fresh air. Think of it as a primer, moisturiser, perfector and highlighter all rolled into one - your make-up bag needs this. Thank me later.

Ok, this is really intriguing to me!!! I kind of really liked the Mineralized Foundation (can't fully say that I LOVED it, but *really liked* is also a very strong statement for me when it comes to foundation). I've been thinking about investing in one of the Makeup Forever primers, but this might make me rethink the whole thing! Have you tried the MUF primers? Any opinions?

This sounds fantastic! I like that it has so many uses and would be great in a pro kit or for the everyday makeup wearer. Also appreciate that it isn't as metallic/reflective as MAC's Strobe cream.
