Father's Day is on Sunday and if you are anything like me you may be a little behind in terms of organisation? Well, not to worry there are plenty of great grooming gifts to found on the highstreet -I've gathered together a few grooming suggestions for all budgets to hopefully inspire you in your quest for the perfect gift.
Fragrance
I have three cologne type suggestions all of which do have varying price points. First up we have Dolce & Gabbana Intenso Eau de Parfum (£42-£52) which is a classic yet effortless aromatic woody blend. It seems to appeal to all ages and works well regardless of the situation - work, leisure or dinner. A more quirky yet similarly scented option is The Library of Fragrance Mahgonany Cologne (£15) - a great, robust scent that can be worn alone or layered with other fragrances of their choosing. If money is no object, then why not treat your Father to a bottle of Tom Ford Tobacco Vanilla Eau de Parfum (£142). This smoky yet sweet scent will be treasured for years to come and I won't tell anyone if you pinch a few sprays every now and then.
Perhaps an unexpected suggestion but just as worthy as the above choices is the Ikea Sinnling Scented Candle in Calming Spa. Not only does this plain glass design look great in any room but it smells great - somewhat like an expensive yet aquatic masculine fragrance, all for the tidy price of £2.50. Dad's love Ikea don't they...well they love to think they do until it comes to assembling the furniture ha!
Skincare
What do you get the man who has everything? Skincare, lots and lots of skincare - if anything it will stop your favourite mask going walkabouts every so often! This by no means my area of expertise but I would recommend Lush Volcano Foot Mask (£6.50) (you could also grab a shower gel and a bath melt when in store) for anyone who spends a lot of time on their feet. It is also a great product to encourage the busy man to make cast aside a little me time each week. Admittedly a foot mask is not for everyone but I have yet to meet anyone who has not enjoyed a quick layer of Origins Clear Improvement Mask (£23). This deeply cleansing mask not only helps remove impurities from the skin's surface but also helps to rebalance the complexion. Lastly may I recommend La Roche-Posay Physiological Make-Up Remover Micellar Water Gel (£8), yes, yes it is intended for make-up use but we can all look past this? This cooling and soothing cleanser, calms the skin and reduces redness and the nifty pump dispenser means it is more than shower friendly!
You could even create your own pampering basket and include all your favourite pampering treats?
Whatever you decide it is the thought that counts and I'm sure your Dad/loved one will be more than happy with your gift.

I still have no idea what to get my father for father's day, he is incredibly hard to buy for. However, this has definitely given me some ideas that I probably wouldn't have thought of otherwise. I like the sound of The Library of Fragrance cologne.
