EcoTools Mini Essentials Brush Set

Say what you want about mini brushes, I feel they have a place in everyone's kit especially in regards to travel. Not only are EcoTools Mini Essentials Brushes dinky and ideal for popping into even the smallest of bags but they are also made from soft, cruelty-free bristles, recycled aluminium ferrules and responsibly sourced bamboo handles.

The EcoTools Mini Essentials Brush costs just £5.99 and contains three brushes which I find to be fairly multi-functional, again ideal for travel when space within your handbag and/or suitcase. Each brush is well made, easy to use and wash - they wash without shedding, splaying or loosing their original shape. My only real compliant would be that the brushes are a little too lightweight which can make them a little trickier to use in regards to blending - then again I guess it depends on what brushes you are used to using to begin with.

The EcoTools Mini Essentials Brush Set includes:
- Full Powder -  a large, fluffy typically shaped powder brush that can be used with loose or pressed powders not to mention it doubles up a blush brush.
- Eye Shading - a small, somewhat silken eye brush that has been created to buff out harsh lines as well as being ideal for applying colour to the eyes.
- Angled Liner - a small, dense and somewhat firm angled brush that can be used to add definition using eyeshadow but can also be utilised with eyeliner of any type not to mention it is handy for filling the brows.

I'm sure most will want to know how this compares to the Real Techniques Mini Brush Trio? Admittedly they are very different kits, if you are looking for a more eye specific kit then the EcoTools Mini Essentials Brush Set is your best bet, if you prefer a more rounded and face targeted set then I recommend the Real Techniques Mini Brush Trio. What ever you choose both are wonderful occasional brushes and more than come in handy when on the go.
