The weather outside may not indicate it but Summer is on the way, if like myself you spent the long winter under copious layers of clothing your skin may be feeling a little dry, and dare I say it neglected? Worry not I have two new ranges of body smoothing and polishing products from Sanctuary that will buff your skin into tip top condition with minimal effort nor will they break the bank.
For those who enjoy aquatic fragrances and products that cool the skin we have - Sanctuary Spa Cooling Collection. When the warm weather does decide to arrive this is the collection and scent you will want to reach for daily - a refreshing blend of water lily, aloe vera and cucumber. Not only is the scent invigorating but each product soothes, cools and calms the body - perfect for warmer climes and after a day of sun seeking? I know it is what I'll be packing when I go on holiday. For dry and/or dull skin we have the new Sanctuary Spa Cooling Glacial Scrub (£8/400g), a sea salt based body scrub that gently yet effectively polishes the skin, all the while cooling. Not only does it quickly slough off any dry skin, leaving the body feeling and looking fresh but it offers an almost spa like experience - all from the comfort of home. As it is a body scrub it can help to boost the circulation, which could be helpful in the fight against cellulite, not to mention by exfoliating any product applied on top does "work" better. If you are on the look out for a gentle, light, cooling and non-greasy body moisturiser, look no further than the new Sanctuary Spa Cooling Body Sorbet (£7/200ml). This has to be one of the quickest drying body moisturisers out there, it soaks into the skin in no time- all the while cooling and refreshing as it goes. Apply all over and enjoy the light burst of moisture and cooling sensation. I can not think of anything more perfect for the upcoming warm season - for added invigoration, I recommend storing in the fridge.
The new Sanctuary Spa Air-Whipped Soufflé range could be the answer to your dry skin woes, it has been for me. A deeply moisturising range of products that don't cost the earth, and have been scented with the now iconic Sanctuary Spa signature scent - jojoba, mango and seaweed. Solving my currentlt dry skin woes is Sanctuary Spa Air-Whipped Shower Soufflé (£7/250ml) - a thick, creamy shower wash that not only cleanses the skin but moisturises too. It is non-greasy, deeply nourishing with a lighter than air texture and is inspired by cupcake frosting. The nozzle is star shaped to mimic icing and of course to swirl on to skin - fun yet the formula is nothing short of wonderful and ideal for dried out skin. Lastly we have Sanctuary Spa Air-Whipped Crème Soufflé (£10.50/475ml), a super soft, silky yet whipped body moisturiser that is quickly absorbed into the skin leaving it soft and supple in one quick step. The texture is like mousse - perfect for those who have minimal time to moisturise their body or simply loathe anything too heavy on their skin. If you want deeply nourished and softer skin this is the product for you, I have been using this daily and my skin has never been in better condition. It really is a great range and offers up solution for parched skin that is not time consuming yet every bit as luxurious as Spa like products.
