A few days ago in the quest for a certain China Glaze Nail Polish I took to Twitter and asked for help, a few pointed me (namely Phillippa - than you again) towards Nail Polish Direct. As someone who seldom purchases nail polish - I own more than I should and don't reach for them nearly enough I wasn't all that familiar with the site. Forgive me for being so honest but as the prices of the polishes (premium brands inclusive) were so low, I was worried it would be old stock or a sham. I am forver suspicious and have been burnt a few times on the likes of eBay.
My worries were for nothing, not only is Nail Polish Direct more than above board I can truly vouch that it is one of the best online beauty shops I have dealt with. I ordered my products during the bank holiday and there arrived safely no less than four days later. My polishes were securely packed - bubble and polystyrene chips in a box, complete with tracked and signed for delivery. Now here is where it gets super impressive - delivery was free! My order of three full sized China Glaze polishes all of which were from the latest collection - Electric Nights and my mini OPI Hawaii set came to just over £21, it is an understatement to say I am pleased.
As a reference point the newest OPI polishes are just shy of £9 each, China Glaze polishes are around £4 (it depends on the collection) and Essie are just under £9 - some are clearly a better deal than others but for China Glaze polishes I have yet to find a better deal. Speaking of which the three shades that I purchased are: Point me to the Party, Let the Beat Drop and Can I get an Untz Untz. All three are matte glitter effect and are best layered over a white or pastel base. I'll pop up a review and swatch post as soon as possible.
Nail Polish Direct gets my seal of approval - cheap, quick and reliable, if like myself you are wary of lesser known retailers I hope this post helps put a few minds at ease.
You can visit Nail Polish Direct here - link.
I've wanted to try OPI polishes for ages but they are just so expensive! I will definitely have a look! Thank you! xxx

OPI has some nice polishes, but they chip just like any other. Same with Essie. China Glaze is a great one. I worked at a salon as a receptionist for a while and they always used China Glaze polishes!

This sounds fantastic, I know that Fragrance Direct do a few discounted nail polishes too so it's definitely worth checking them out if you haven't already, but i'll definitely be checking out this website for myself!

These look so pretty, but it's a shame I'm not a massive fan of China Glaze nail polishes x
