We have reached that point in the year in which the weather is certainly more pleasant, dare I say it even mild and sunny but not quite tropical - not that Glasgow could ever be described as such. Much like the predicament of our current clothing situation; "Do I wear a jacket or not, I best take an umbrella to be safe" - you may be struggling to find the ideal transitional fragrance? A scent that is light and airy, uplifting yet doesn't quite capture Club Tropicana? Enter Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue Eau de Toilettes.
Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue Eau de Toilette is the Spring/Summer fragrance staple ever girl and guy for that matter should own. Fresh, slightly, fruity but as crisp as a white shirt. It will uplift but never overpower, it is sunny without being cloying and citrus based without the need to ring overly sweet. Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue Eau de Toilette is subtle enough for the office yet perfectly unforgettable - it could even be your something blue should you be planning on getting married any time soon? Otherwise a great, everyday, carefree scent choice.
Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue Eau de Toilette for Her is most likely a fragrance the majority of us will have experienced at some point, of not I urge you to head to your local perfume counter and inhale - it is that good! This light fruity floral contains notes of Bluebell, Apple and Jasmine, it couldn't be more fitting for the Spring if it tried. The male counterpart Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue Eau de Toilette for Him is equally as refreshing with notes of mandarin, grapefruit, bergamot, rosemary and musk, making it sharp, slightly herbal but very, very fresh.
Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue Eau de Toilette for Her £49.50/50ml via Boots (with free gift) - link.

I used to love the Light Blue but last time I repurchased I found it just didn't agree with me. Scents always smell better on others though :p
ReplyDeletePerhaps it's time to relook at it again.

Light Blue was my first ever 'grown up' perfume and I love the smell but I've been put off repurchasing because I associate it with my teens. It's one of the only perfumes I can smell and know immediately what it is - it's not like any other - in a good way! Think I may have to look at going back to it for summer xx

A few years back someone gave me a bottle of this perfume and I wore it for a while. However it is not really my style so I never repurchased
ReplyDeleteI've not given either of these a sniff yet, but you've convinced me - totes need to!
