I promised myself that I'd hold off on featuring candles for a little while but that was until I was introduced to Woodwick Candles. I know what you are thinking- "Doesn't this girl own enough candles?", yes, yes I do but trust me when I say that there is something special about Woodwick Candles.

Woodwick Applewood is a slightly spicy apple blend that manages to be both uplifting and comforting in one. Everyone who has set foot in my house within the last few days has complimented the scent which rarely happens. I also have Woodwick Fireside which is a deep, slightly smoky and dare I say it masculine blend of amber, vetiver and musk - if ever there was a scent to burn in the evening it this.

Ignore the fragrances for a moment and let us focus on the packaging - sleek, grown up, contemporary yet classic at the same time. It doesn't matter what your home décor style happens to be a Woodwick Candle will happily blend in with its surroundings or should you wish become a focal point. Oh but it gets better each Woodwick Candle features a solid wood wick (hence the name), which crackles, flickers and somewhat dances with embers when lit. It really is a sight and noise to behold, it almost sounds like a real roaring fire. Personally I like to curl up in bed with a book, light the candle and listen to the wick crackling in the background. It is oddly soothing and comforting - not to mention the fragrance is nothing short of wonderful.

I've not had the chance to burn one of these yet but i have had a sniff of them all in my local stockist and they are amazing aren't they! such unusual scents and makes a change from yankee :) great post!

I think we are similar when it comes to candles! I have a stash of them in a box, and I said I would hold off on candles but they come along and it's hard to resist! I have packed away the winter scents and my house is filled with fresher candles! x

I adore Woodwick candles! I've been lucky enough to find them in TKMaxx a few times and got them for a bargain. :) Their scents are beautiful and the crackle is so soothing!

ReplyDeleteI am obsessed with these too! I have used them for years and they are still hands down my fave candles. My favourite scents so far - campfire marshmallow and fresh linen. They also do car scents which I love getting for my car! I agree, they're very therapeutic haha x

I love the Wood Wick candles! My boyfriend has one of the massive three scent layered ones and it smells so yummy. I just love how the wick crackles as you burn it, it's so relaxing.

Love these candles so much. I have the Pumpkin Cupcake one and it smells divine. The crackling at first took a bit of getting use to, but I do find these candles last ages! I bought mine in maybe October last year and I burn it for around an hour almost everyday and I still have 1/4 left. I want to get more, if only they were more readily available near me though.
