Shopping with Zeek

Shopping with Zeek

I love a good gift voucher don't you? Some say they are soulless and the easiest gift to give but what if the person is tricky to buy for? Wouldn't you rather they had the chance to select their own gift and know that they truly love it? I know I would. If you purchase gift cards regularly then you may want to download the app Zeek and save yourself a pretty penny or two.

Shopping with Zeek

Zeek is a market place where you can sell or buy store vouchers and gift cards at great discounts to their face value - I got £75 worth of Boots vouchers for £50. Your money certainly goes further and the good news is that it tells you online when the cards are due to expire - mine had a  full year of wiggle room. My cards were delivered to my door within 5 days via recorded post so you don't have to worry about them becoming lost in transit.

On the flip side plenty of us get gift cards for stores and restaurants we never frequent, or simply forget about until it is too late. Well Zeek allows you to sell those cards on at a price convenient for yourself. Sure you won't get the original face value but it is better than nothing. Yesterday I took my vouchers to Boots and went a little crazy in the make-up and skin care aisles. I treated myself to the new Smashbox Double Exposure Palette amongst many other things and didn't feel all that guilty as in theory I did save money. My frivolous spending aside if you do use gift cards for any reason I highly recommend checking out the Zeek app. You can read more here - link.
