Late April is the perfect time to begin day dreaming about trips to the beach isn't it? I certainly think so. If the island of Sicily, Italy has perhaps topped your wanderlust dreams lately then let one of the two new D&G Light Blue Limited Edition Fragrances take you there via your imagination.Launching on Monday (29th of April) nationwide is two new and limited edition versions of the now iconic Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue scent.
First up we have Dolce & Gabbana Sunset in Salina Pour Femme Eau de Toliette which has been inspired by Sicily's largest Aeolian Island - Salina. Think beautiful coves, a sprawling marina and some of the best wine Italy has to offer, wonderful food and good company - all in a tranquil, sun soaked destination. This is exactly what Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Sunset in Salina Pour Femme Eau de Toilette portrays - a light, fresh and slightly aquatic scent that is never cloying, making it ideal for the warmer weather. Notes include fresh vine leaves and violet leaves, yellow freesia, jasmine and orange blossom with amber, cedar and white musk at the base for warmth (sunsets?) and longevity. It is not worlds apart from the original Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue fragrance, this time around it is slightly more aquatic than fruity. If you are looking for a refreshing, summer ready fragrance that will take you from the office to the beach in an instant this is one to try out.
Dolce & Gabbana Sunset in Salina Pour Femme (£39-£66) and Dolce & Gabbana Swimming in Lipari Pour Homme (£38-£64) will launch this coming Monday.

These look gorgeous, especially the Light Blue for men. My boyfriend really liked his mom's light blue so I bought his Versace Eau Fraiche which he really likes now :) xx

They sound heavenly, oddly enough I have never bought a fragrance from D&G and I think that is going to have to change!

Both sound nice. I'm more of a fruity girl though... so maybe the original is more my thing.
ReplyDeleteThese sound so, so lovely! I have heard countless amazing things about most of D&G's fragrances but I've never really checked them out properly. x
