Bioderma White Objective

Every now and then collections land in which I have no-one suitable to test them out for me: myself, mother, sisters and friends are all a little too young for brown spots due to age, and oddly it is not something my Grandmother suffers from. However the Bioderma White Objective range doesn't just help to reduce the signs of pigmentation but it can also prevent it from occurring, as it is better to prevent than cure. Within the line up there are six products to choose from which includes cleansers, serums and moisturisers as well as a hand cream.

Bioderma White Objective H20 Cleansing Micelle Solution £11 via Escentual
One thing Bioderma is renowned for is it's micellaire waters, I'd go as far as saying that they helped paved the way for such craze in the UK. A few years ago we'd all pay extortionate amounts via eBay to own a bottle of Bioderma Sensibio H20, those where the days! The newest Bioderma Cleansing Water not only effectively removes make-up, all the while being fragrance free but with continued use it can lighten pigmentation spots and generally brighten the face. As to be expected with any Bioderma cleansing product it is extremely gentle, doesn't strip or dry the skin out and is suitable for use around the eyes. On the skin it feels not only comfortable but refreshing and as it is a non-rinse product I am sure you will be glad to know it doesn't leave behind a greasy film or residue. As mentioned above this can be used to prevent pigmentation or brown spots from ever appearing, the concept is that the formula is created with fatty acid esters, which help to rebuild the skin's hydrolipidic film (skin's natural protective barrier) while micelles micro-emulsify impurities to reveal fresh and clean skin. At the heart of the formula is the W.O.® patent, a complex that acts on the main biological mechanisms responsible for pigmentation - a great step forward to see cleansers do more than just remove dirt and make-up! If you are using to prevent rather than to cleanse I do recommend following up with one or both of the moisturising solutions both night and day.

Bioderma White Lighting Fluid £16.50 via Escentual
Think of this as your go to, dark spot preventing daily moisturiser that not only boasts the same technology as the above cleansing water to lighten and prevent but contains an SPF 25 and a dose of Vitamin C to brighten there and then. A lot of day time moisturisers, especially those that contain SPF can be thick, heavy and difficult to work and dare I say it greasy? Well this is a light weight, instantly absorbed, non-greasy yet hydrating serum of sorts. It leaves the skin feeling instantly hydrated, soft to the touch and lends a great canvas for applying make-up on top off. The added bonus is that not only does it instantly brighten but it protects the skin in more ways than one thanks to the added SPF. I won't be using it for pigmentation woes but rather to help inject a little radiance and of course to prevent UV damage. A great every day addition to any skin care routine.

The Bioderma White Objective collection has only just reached the UK you can purchase the range exclusively via Escentual - link.
