I want to begin by apologising, my press release stating when these launch (April I believe) and the exact price point (under £10 each I think) got soaked due to a bottle of perfume shattering within the package. Accidents aside the new Body Shop Matte Kajal Eye Liners are something to behold - creamy, yet utterly matte and so, so pigmented.
The new Body Shop Matte Kajal Eye Liners when they launch come in two shades both of which are utterly universal: Black and White. They come in a chubby yet tapered style crayon shape, which may require a little sharpening over time but rest assure they look more scary than they actually are. The pointed tip allows for precision yet the chubby style means you can quickly and easily shade/fill larger areas of the eye should you wish. Essentially you could use these as both an eyeshadow and eye liner as the texture and style allows for both.
As mentioned above the new Body Shop Matte Kajal Eye Liners come in two shades: a truly matte black which is perfect for defining and shaping the eye, for those who want to brighten and give the illusion of larger eyes the matte white shade is the one you want. Both are beautifully pigmented and provide clean, bright and bold colour in one quick sweep. As I have mentioned The Body Shop Matte Kajal Eye Liners are soft and creamy so that they do not pull or tug on the delicate eye area. Typically softer formulations when it comes to eye pencils can result in a shortened wear time but in this case that is not at all true. Yesterday I put both of The Body Shop Matte Kajal Eye Liners to the test - I used the white shade as an eyeshadow base which helped to brighten my eyeshadow and prolong wear. It was around five hours before creasing began to set in, I also applied the same shade to my lower waterline and achieved around four hours of steady wear. I gently blended the black Body Shop Matte Kajal Eye Liner on my lower and upper lash line, I found it to stay in place for a solid six hours which was unexpected. If you are looking for matte, pigmented and easy to apply kajal liners this should be the next item you purchase.

I *love* that shape - it facilitates both ultra slim and super-thick lines, and manages to wear down evenly. I I'm excited!
ReplyDeleteI love kajal eyeliners, they are the best when it comes to pigmented liners!
