The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Collection

On the 7th of April The Body Shop will unveil their latest collection - The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Collection. As with the majority of The Body Shop launches this is fairly vast in size and offers a variety of bath and body products, with the same new and delightful fragrance. I fear I over use this saying but there really is something for everyone: fragrance, bath products, moisturisers and scrubs - you name it, they have it!

Before I share my thoughts on the individual products let's discuss the new scent - The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea. In my opinion it is best described as a fresh aquatic, uplifting yet calming at the same time and very, very green. It has a very Spa like vibe - perfect for chilling out at home with, be it as a weekly ritual or a nightly five minutes of calm before bed. I can see the The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea fragrance appealing to most, it is so gentle and soothing. Each item is infused with Japanese Green Tea which does in fact come from the Mount Fiji region of Japan. It is believed that such leaf can help the skin to retain moisture as well as replenishing and refreshing.

As mentioned above the collection is fairly vast, there is of course the creamy and ever loved The Body Shop Body Butter which will hydrate even the driest of skin textures. If you require something a little lighter and more refreshing there is The Body Shop Body Sorbet in Fuji Green Tea, along with the regular body lotion. To cleanse you have the choice of The Body Shop Exfoliating Soap (for the body), or the Fuji Green Tea Scrub which is gentle yet effective or the standard body wash. For me the most exciting product within the entire range is The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Bath Tea, which is a little like bath salts. To use you pour a little into the Fuji Green Tea Infuser and turn your bath into one giant cup of tea - well of sorts. If you enjoy a good soak in the bath I can imagine this will be difficult to pass up on. Lastly for those who can not get enough of the fragrance there is The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Cologne, this of course shares the same notes as all the bath and body products but is slightly more concentrated. Being a cologne it not only scents the skin but cools and refreshes at the same time.

The The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Collection will launch on the 7th of April and prices will range from £4-£16.
