Lush Easter Collection 2015

This year just seems to be zooming on past doesn't it, I can't believe that Easter is just around the corner. If like myself you are counting the calories or simply aren't a huge chocolate fan then perhaps all the new goodies at Lush will tempt you. I was kindly sent an assortment today that I simply could not wait to share with everyone...

Lush Easter Collection 2015

Lush Golden Egg £3.75 each

"How do you like your legs in the morning? We like ours soaking in toffee-scented molten gold, packed full of Fair Trade Colombian cocoa butter. Pick up a dazzling Golden Egg and soak in a bath made of moisturising olive oil until your skin feels softer than caramel. To ensure you feel well and truly indulged after your soak, we blend in uplifting bergamot and sweet, wild orange oils too."

If you enjoy bath ballistics but wish for something a little more moisturising then this is the product for you - think of it as a bath melt come bath bomb all rolled into one. You have the fun fizzy element coupled with lots of soft and moisturising cocoa butter much like a bath melt. The golden egg shape is both fun and rather pretty to look at but a word of warning is that the glitter gets everywhere and I have yet to dunk it into a bath! Scent wise it is uplifting and fairly fruity making it inoffensive and one I'd imagine just about everyone will enjoy.

"At the end of every rainbow lies sweet, decadently-scented jelly. Lather up with this caramel-scented solid shower gel, made with orange peel decoction and fresh pineapple juice to brighten your skin and your mood. Just in case that wasn't enough, we've added some shimmer to the rich carageenan seaweed base for an extra touch of magic. You've really struck gold with this one."

I wish I popped in and purchased this yesterday for St.Paddy's day! If you are unfamiliar with shower jellies, essentially they are solid shower gels which are a whole lot of fun to use. You can also freeze them if you find them a little slippery and/or pop it under a running tap to create a bubble bath. Scent wise this is a light, creamy caramel scent which is almost good enough to eat not to mention it looks like liquid gold.

"Somewhere over the rainbow (in Poole to be precise) we've been whipping up a sunny-scented soap to bring a little springtime to your home. Wash with a chunk of the rainbow and allow your troubles to melt like lemon drops when you catch a whiff of that mood-enhancing neroli. A touch of rose absolute and Sicilian mandarin oil and you're ready to rise and shine."

The perfect way to brighten any day - a fruity yet delicately floral scented, bright soap that is gentle enough to use as a daily hand soap yet boasts enough cleansing power to double up as an in shower wash. This would make a lovely little extra for any Easter hamper or just as a small thank you to a neighbour and/or friend. The fact that this soap contains glitter is only an added bonus as far as I am concerned.

"Sometimes you're up and sometimes you're down. When you're down, bounce back with this fantastically fizzy little bunny, who has been burrowing amongst fresh violet leaf and lavender. Drop this restorative rabbit into the bath for a fresh, herbal experience which will leave you feeling bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. Popping candy adds a little fun."

Isn't this just adorable and at £2.50 each you can afford to treat yourself without feeling guilty. The super sweet bunny design will appeal to both young and old and the price point makes them all the more accessible. Scent wise this has to be my favourite - it has a definite violet scent that is somewhat reminiscent of Marc Jacobs Daisy EDP. As an added twist of fun each Lush Hoppity Poppity contains real popping candy so that it pops as well as fizzes in the water.

Lush Easter Collection 2015

Lush Bunch of Carrots £5.95 per bunch.

"Dig up the dirt on refreshing tropical bathing with this adorable trio of carrots. Hold one of these reusable carrots under the tap to send bubbly clouds of buchu, lemon and grapefruit oils scurrying across your bath, and then pop it on the side for next time. Great fun for kids, sure, but this fruity, fragrant blend has got to be one of our best yet, perfect for reviving the senses after a long day. Sunny dispositions all round."

You may recognise this product from last year, it seems we where all so enamoured last time around that it would only be rude not to bring them back one more time.  The rather quirky shaped carrots are in fact bubble bars each of which features a bright citrus scent. Unlike the other products the carrots are reusable and will provide up to three baths each. If you enjoy bubble filled baths this is the product for you.
