Normally my weekly favourites post will pop up within your feed on a Sunday but yesterday I was a little under the weather thanks to a pesky wisdom tooth. I now understand why babies are so miserable teething. Anyway as they say better late than never...
My skin is slowly but surely becoming more manageable, my acne is clearing up nicely but needless to say my skin is less than perfect. My base product of choice is still Lancome Teint Miracle Foundation teamed with Topshop The Airbrush Primer; the primer fills in any enlarged pores and creates a silky smooth canvas to apply foundation on top off. I also find it locks my base product of choice into place. Lancome Teint Miracle Foundation is one of those few full coverage foundations that really does hide every imperfection yet never looks nor feels heavy. I have been dabbling a little with contouring and will admit that the new Topshop Contour Cream in Swerve has been my weapon of choice. I like that it is so easy to apply, long wearing and gives a natural yet sculpted look. The only blush I have been reaching for is Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in True Love - a pretty pink hue that compliments my currently washed out skin tone.
Other notable mentions include Tesco Pro Radiance Melting Gel Cleanser which is seriously one of the best gel cleansers I have ever used. It is exceptionally gentle, safe for blemished skin types and removes every scrap of make-up with next to no effort. I also rather enjoy that it leaves my skin feeling soft and plump - perfect for the colder seasons. It costs less than £5 but annoyingly you can not order it online you will have to pop in-store.
On my lips it has been Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Patina - a muted yet deep pink toned nude. If you like the 90's matte nude lip that I guess Kylie Jenner put back on the map this is shade you will want to own. The formula really does stay put for several hours even when drinking and eating. Yes it is a little drying but other than that I can not fault it.
As many will know I am a huge fan of Benefit's Roller Lash Mascara, the curved wand and light formula really works well with my long but flimsy eyelashes. A few quick coats and I have lifted, elongated and jet black eye lashes which sometimes look a little fake much to my delight. It won't be to everyone's taste but it is a personal favourite of mine.
Great roundup!

Really nice picks here. I have the Lancome foundation- and I love it. It's a couple shades too dark for me at the mo', so I can't wait for summer when I can match up with it again!
