We have all been there, overtired, dull skinned and to top it all we hit snooze on the alarm making the entire day a game of catch up. Hey no judgement from me - I need all the beauty sleep I can get. One product that may come in helpful is Soap & Glory Peach Party Multi-Colour Blush Brick, an all singing, all dancing blush come highlight that feigns a good nights sleep and leaves you utterly glowing for just a little over £10.
"This shimmery, dewy, MULTI-COLOUR BLUSH BRICK gives you ‘fresh from the beach’ glowing skin, with a light-reflecting, shimmery finish. Use it as a blush to make the ‘apples of your cheeks’ glisten - or to highlight, contour and brighten your cheekbones!Be warned: your cheeks will look so fresh, you may feel the need to slap them!Featuring:- a healthy finish mix of micro-colours in a single beautiful blush brick, a super-smoothing and easy-to-blend powder colour base- light-reflecting multi-pearl shimmer."
I have a soft spot for Soap & Glory's packaging style, I like the often tongue in cheek product names and the retro, pin up models used within the marketing. Cute, flirty and fun which is how I would sum the brand up on the whole. The Soap & Glory Peach Party Multi-Colour Blush Brick comes within a good sized round, plastic compact that is slim with a large disc of product and a mirror for convenience. Although plastic it is sturdy and should survive a good few knocks in a handbag and/or regular travelling if you are a jet setter.
The Soap & Glory Peach Party Multi-Colour Blush Brick is a large, shimmer based wheel which contains ten wedges of colour: four of which are a light, rose gold not dissimilar from NARS Orgasm Blush, two oyster pink (on the skin this translates to gold), two deep copper segments and lastly two light peach compartments. Although each chunk of colour is well sized they are not large enough to use as separately as blushes or highlighters but they can be used as eyeshadows should you wish. As with most shimmer bricks of this type the idea is that you swirl all the tones together to create a somewhat custom shade. In the case of Soap & Glory Peach Party Multi-Colour Blush Brick the final result is a peachy coral pink which again could draw comparisons to NARS Orgasm Blush. No it is not the most original blush shade out there but it is super flattering, fairly universal and undoubtedly brightening.
I touched on the fact that Soap & Glory Peach Party Multi-Colour Blush Brick is pretty intensely pigmented, the overall texture is soft and finely milled. As someone with enlarged pores this is not really a product I should use as a blush as I find the shimmer particles settle into said problem and exaggerate it. On the plus side it doesn't cling to any dry areas, wears well (at least 8 hours), blends with ease and offers enough colour saturation for even the deepest complexion. If you have a light skin tone a light hand and a fluffy brush are your friends. Other than that and the pore issue I can not fault the Soap & Glory Peach Party Multi-Colour Blush Brick; multi-purpose and budget friendly.

ReplyDeleteI have a soft spot for Soap & Glory as well, I find myself really drawn to their products they make me smile!
ReplyDeleteThis blush looks really pretty, although very shimmery. I think it's work well if applied carefully and at least there's no need for a separate highlighter! :) peachy shades are always a winner for me as well.

This looks gorgeous! Swirled together it reminds me of MAC's mineralized blush in Warm Soul - wearing that today.
