Lush Brazilliant Shampoo Bar

This will be the last review of a Lush Shampoo Bar for at least a month or so as I have ran out of testers and will need a good few weeks to properly trial the remaining two new editions. If you have curly, afro Caribbean hair or dried out tresses I have quite the treat for you today - Lush Brazilliant Shampoo Bar. A solid shampoo bar that not only moisturises such hair types but adds shine too. I should also mention it smells delectable. De-le-cta-ble.

"Get Rio-lly good hair with this shampoo bar, reminiscent of the Brazilian sun. Whole fresh organic oranges are packed with nutrients which will make your locks super shiny. Andiroba oil makes this especially moisturising when use on curly or Afro-Caribbean hair. We've also added ylang ylang oil and sweet orange oil to treat your hair to tropical fragrance."

Lush Brazilliant Shampoo Bar

As I mentioned above the scent is incredible, so much so I am a little jealous that Lush Brazilliant Shampoo Bar is not suitable for my hair type. If summer was a shampoo it would be Brazilliant - fresh, citrus based, zesty yet mellow which is not something you can say about orange scents everyday. My hair doesn't tend to favour products aimed at Afro Caribbean hair nor curly hair despite it being on the curly spectrum - they tend to be overly moisturising leaving my locks weighed down and oddly crispy on occasion. On the flip side my sister has a much tighter curl pattern than I and has been kind enough to make this her go to shampoo as of late. From the first use she pretty much declared her love for the Lush Brazilliant Shampoo Bar and sent me a good few texts with heart eyed emojis.

My sister has curly and somewhat course hair which is troublesome: prone to knotting, frizz and lacking lustre. Most shampoo's don't moisturise the hair, their main purpose is to cleanse the hair and scalp which Lush Brazilliant does wonderfully so without stripping the hair. As an added bonus it is packed with Andiroba Oil which is deeply nourishing, conditioning and loaded with natural Omega 3's. Rather than weighing the hair down with excessive moisture this shampoo gently conditions, smoothing the hair follicle as it goes without residue or weight. In turn my sister's curls have been softer, manageable, free from frizz and shiny not to mention easier to comb. If knots are the bane of your life you will fully appreciate this aspect. If you have curly/Afro Caribbean or really dried out hair this should be your next Lush purchase.

The Lush Shampoo Bars are slowly but surely winning over both myself and family
