With Spring firmly on the horizon you may be on the look out for a light, fresh floral scent to wear in the coming days. As a huge fragrance collector I have collected my top five Spring ready scents all of which are permanent and in-store now!
I mentioned above I somewhat collect fragrances, due to my vast array of scents I seldom repurchase anything as there really is only so much perfume one person can wear. Burberry My Burberry Eau de Parfum is one of my few repurchases along with Thierry Mugler Alien Eau de Parfum. My Burberry is a fairly light, white floral that has been inspired by London Rain - light and refreshing. It isn't typically something I would seek out as I am more of a deeper fragrance lover but my, my this has me hooked. Perfect for day wear yet it has enough depth to see you into the evening.
Ralph Lauren Big Pony 3 Eau de Toilette £43 via Debenhams
If fruity floral's are your calling one fragrance you may have overlooked is This is my favourite from the Big Pony collection, a yummy bright fruity scent that has green notes combined with pear. It is perfect for warm days (wishful thinking) or in my case wet walks in the rain but regardless in brightens my mood in an instant. If you like light, clean scents with a sparkling fruity kick then I highly suggest this lesser spoke about fragrance.
My current go to scent of choice - a truly beautiful light, fresh and green floral fragrance that encapsulates the new season. Imagine morning dew resting on white floral's and you won't go far wrong. Youthful, fresh, uplifting and one I will never tire of. Yes this is a soft scent but it lingers on the skin all day long. You simply have to try this for yourself.
Tom Ford Violet Blonde Eau de Parfum from £50 via Space.NK
Fresh, earthen and slightly salty. Admittedly not something that sounds all that great on paper but trust me when I say that I have yet to meet someone who doesn't enjoy this fragrance. It is slightly masculine yet dries slightly powdery, like I said it doesn't sound all wonderful but it is unlike any other Jo Malone cologne, perfect for layering with other scents and a great transnational option as it is not at all floral.
Dolce Floral Drops by Dolce & Gabbana Eau de Toilette from £44 via Boots My current go to scent of choice - a truly beautiful light, fresh and green floral fragrance that encapsulates the new season.
My only night time recommendation, sweet, floral yet strong - strong not overwhelming which means those a little more adventurous can wear it with ease throughout the day should they wish. I like to think of Tom Ford Violet Blonde as a sexy yet sweet floral. If you like violet scents there is no doubt in my mind that this is one you will enjoy this - think of it as an amped up Marc Jacobs Daisy. The wear time is out of this world but I find that to be true for most Tom Ford fragrances.
What is your go to light, Spring scent of choice?
Wow all of these look amazing, and I have not tried one yet. Will have to put these on my list :) Thanks for sharing xx

I've been wearing Stella and Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet for years but my husband gave me My Burberry as a birthday gift and I really think I'll repurchase that one too! So fresh and feminine...

I would probably buy the Dolce & Gabana Dolce Floral Drops because of the packaging.
ReplyDeleteThe packaging of products is extremely important to me. I want the whole package to be great overall, not just the product itself.
I now own Calvin Klein's Euphoria perfume and I am so glad to have bought it. Best investment for 2014. I might try one of these as my investment for 2015.

My Burberry isn't something I would pick out myself but my friend was wearing it the other day and she smelt incredible! Definitely going to spray it on myself in store to see if I like it on me :)

I've never tried any of these fragrances but Violet Blonde sounds right up my alley.
