The Daily Beauty Report (26.01.14)

Here is what is happening within the beauty world at the moment...

Two new dry shampoo's - "TONI&GUY Hair Meet Wardrobe has announced the launch of two new styling dry shampoos, both of which were road tested backstage at SS15 shows spearheaded by Global Hair Ambassador Mark Hampton.Casual Matt Texture Dry Shampoo provides a matt finish to the hair to remove shine; while Classic Perfect Tease Dry Shampoo has been created to add shine, grip and soft definition while concentrating on thickness and volume." These will launch in February and cost £7.49.

Tangle Teezer just get better and better - "Tangle Teezer has announced two new additions to its brush collection. The new Blow-Styling Hairbrush provides volume and shine, as well as a faster drying experience. Designed as a paddle brush, the individual teeth formation allows for free flow tension, whereby hair will pass through in a snake like motion, removing excess water from the surface layer ready for blow drying. There is no dragging or stretching of hair, allowing hair to retain its natural movement and volume for longer. The brush will be available in a full paddle (medium to long hair) and half paddle size (short to medium hair). Also launching is the Compact Groomer, the first Tangle Teezer for men. Suitable for both head and facial hair, the groomer comes complete with a metallic cover to protect teeth from dirt and fluff." Prices will range £12.25- £20 and launch in February (Blow-Styler) & March (groomer).

New shades from an exciting new nail brand - "Five-free nail lacquer brand INTENSAE has announced the launch of its new collection, SS15 Part 1. The range comprises three new shades, including: GENEISIS, a creme formula classic red with a raspberry undertone, inspired by Brooke Candy; KIKI, a pastel blue creme inspired by Kirsten Dunst; and THE SHRIMP, a sheer blush pink inspired by Jean Shrimpton. Part 2 will be available at the beginning of April, with shades announced in due course."This line up will launch this month and priced at €16.95.

With Easter on the horizon (trust me it will here sooner rather than later) Ciate have a way to curb that sweet tooth - "Ciaté has announced the launch of its Liquid Chalk Collection. The five-free nail polish range has been formulated to provide a soft, chalky and textured finish. The collection comprises four Paint Pots, including: Wanderlust (soft mauve), Cheek to Cheek (pink), Sweet Talk (warm nude/greige) and Confess (classic nude). The polishes are also available in colour complimenting duos: Crowd Craze (including Wanderlust and Sweet Talk) and Doodle Dance (containing Cheek to Cheek and Confess). Additionally, the brand has announced the launch of Choc Pots, a selection of nail polish remover pots which are available in four chocolate scents. Offering a non-drying formulation, which is acetone free and enriched with hydrating marula oil, vitamin B and E, scents include: Orange Chocolate, Mint Chocolate, White Chocolate and Dark Chocolate. This will launch in March and prices will range for £6-15.

If you are looking for a new and exciting foundation, look no further - "Lancôme has announced the launch of Miracle Cushion, a new foundation embedded within a sponge format, which provides fresh dewy hydration, weightless coverage and radiance. As users press down on to the cushion, a small dose of tinted, water-light fluid is released. While providing the lightness of a fluid, the product has the unifying blur effect of a BB cream and evens and protects the skin from UV. Soft and bouncy, the sponge cushion has thousands of air holes which optimise the formula’s absorption into the sponge. The large chambers are designed to contain a significant amount of fluid, releasing just the right dose for each application. The formula is concentrated in water and enriched with volatile oils, designed to combine make-up results with skincare benefits. The compact comes with a specifically developed pad applicator. Miracle Cushion is available is six shades, which fuse with the fairest to the darkest complexions. This will launch this coming February and cost £29.50 (refill, £19.50)."

  5. I'm always looking for new items to come out that can control my frizz and tangles specially is summer, I have to look into these. I like Lancome as well but the serum for some reason it burns my skin, but when I use the day and night creams they are ok not sure what is in the serum that my face don't like. For the home fragrances I always like Vanilla, Rose, Lavender. I really don't like the musky smells they make me dizzy hehe.. I have not been to the Body Shop in a long while I have to go see what is new,, thanks for sharing this.
