Coffee based hair care anyone? "Environmentally friendly haircare brand O'right has announced the UK launch of RECOFFEE, its new haircare line made of 100% recycled coffee grounds. The recycled coffee grounds are collected from cafés and convenience stores across Taiwan and each bottle contains a minimum of 98% natural ingredients and grounds from 16 cups of coffee. The caffeine content in RECOFFEE stimulates the hair shaft and helps it grow faster, by blocking the effects of DHT, a chemical known to damage hair follicles. As with all of O’right’s products, RECOFFEE is free from environ hormones, parabens, sulphates, phthalates, formaldehyde thickeners, colourants and EO derivatives. Additionally, the 250ml RECOFFEE shampoo bottle grows into a coffee tree when buried in soil, due to the natural, biodegradable composition of the packaging and the coffee seeds built into the base. Each bottle is also enriched with 100% RECOFFEE oil, extracted from the recycled grounds and leaves hair glossy without weighing it down. The current range includes Moisturising Shampoo, Volumising Shampoo, Conditioner and Hair Oil."

As someone with problematic pores this is right up my alley! "Skincare brand Kiehl's has announced the launch of its Dermatologist Solutions Precision Lifting & Pore Tightening Concentrate (£49). The formula has been clinically demonstrated to visibly lift skin, help reshape the look of facial contours and minimise the appearance of enlarged pores. Combining highly refined micro-filtered yeast extract and geranium essential oil, the product improves the skin's overall 'bounce-back' quality and definition. The product is currently exclusively available in Selfridges prior to its nationwide launch." This will launch on the 9th of February.

Have a lovely evening everyone.
