The Daily Beauty Report (08.01.15)

The Daily Beauty Report (08.01.15)

Today we have a bumper edition of beauty news with no less than nine new launches to look forward to...

A beautiful new, bronzing palette to look forward to! "BareMinerals has announced the launch of California Bronze, a new multi-effect bronzing trio. The palette features three universal shades that combine to provide skin with a natural-looking, multi-dimensional warmth. Shades include: bareMinerals READY Sheer Matte Bronzer in The Ocean View, Luminizer in The Shining Moment and Bronzer in The High Dive." Perfect for the upcoming Summer. This will launch in March and cost £25.

A new collection from Bobbi Brown touches down this week (look out for my review on Sunday)! "Bobbi Brown Cosmetics has announced the launch of its Illuminating Nudes Collection, created to provide users with an instant lift and a natural, healthy glow. The collection features five products, including:Extra Illuminating Moisture Balm, a moisturiser to provide a skin with a 'lit-from-within' look; CC Cream SPF 35, a colour corrector and treatment hybrid that evens out skin tone, available in new shades Blush Nude and Rich Nude; Natural Brow Shaper & Hair Touch Up, a cream-gel formula available in new shades: Slate and Brunette; Lip Gloss, a high-shine formula in shades Almost Nude, Almost Pink and Almost Peach; and Sparkle Eye Shadow, a featherweight eye shadow which combines shimmering pearls and fine sparkle, available in two new shades: White Sand and Golden Peach. Additionally, the brand has launched the Face Touch Up Palette, a palm-sized mirrored palette featuring Corrector, Creamy Concealer, Skin Foundation Stick and Sheer Finish Pressed Powder in skin-tone correct shades, with 15 shade varieties."

If you are a fan of By Terry products this snippet is for you. "By Terry has announced the launch of Nude & Rose, a new make-up collection for SS15. The new range is based on fresh, undressed complexions and comprises: Cellularose Moisturizing CC Cream, a colour control multi-tasking sheer tinted cream with micro-mineral pigments, available in shades Nude, Natural, Beige and Tan;Cellularose Blush Glacé Allover Edition in Ice Dream, a contouring blush that hydrates, sculpts, colours, awakens and refreshes the complexion; and Hyaluronic Sheer Nude Hydra-Balm Fill & Plump Lipstick, which contains a new formula using hyaluronic acid microspheres, HA-Lip+, specially created to plump out the tiniest lip grooves and provide pure hydration. Combining crystal colour pigments and luminous agents, Hyaluronic Sheer Nude is available in five shades: Bare Balm, Innocent Kiss, Nude Pulp, Sheer Glow and Flush Contour." This will launch on the 1st of February and prices will range from £26-£57.

The Estee Double Wear collection expands (I have samples and will have reviews live before launch date). "Estée Lauder has announced the launch of the new and improved Double Wear Stay-In-Place Eye Pencil, the latest long-wearing product added to the Double Wear make-up collection. The pencil offers a creamy formula which set in quickly to provide an intense high coverage, colour-true wear. The water-resistant formula is easy to smudge, blend and apply and is infused with Colour Brilliance Pigments, vitamin E and jojoba oils. The new line up includes 12 continuous and four limited life rich, jewel-toned shades consisting of mattes and shimmers. Each eye pencil is sharpenable and includes an improved silicone smudge tip." These will cost £16.50 each and will launch on the 21st of January.

I love the Spring due to all the beautiful pastel hues of make-up and this collection does not disappoint! "Guerlain has announced the launch of its Les Tendres Collection for spring 2015. The range comprises: Baby Glow, an anti-fatigue effect fluid to enhance the radiance of the complexion and wipe away signs of daily fatigue and stress; Météorites Compact, a light-revealing powder available in three harmonies for every skin tone, including Pure light for fair skin, Tone-on-tone light for medium skin and Warm light for golden skin; and Météorites Perles de Blush in Angelic Radiance. The brand's classic products Kiss Kiss Lipstick, L’Ecrin Couleurs Eye Palettes, Le Lacque Couleur Nail Polish and Maxi Lash Mascara provide a new twist on classic pastels with new shades to brighten the face and compliment spring trends." This will launch on the 16th of this month and prices range from £19-£41.

Fans of Laura Mercier get ready for one of the most beautiful collections to date (in my opinion anyway) - "Laura Mercier has announced the launch of its Watercolour Clouds spring 2015 colour collection. The new range encompasses watercolour hues and shades of pale green merged with mauve, wheat and muted navy, across products including: Limited Edition Watercolour Mist Eye & Cheek Palette, Crème Smooth Lip Colour in Brigitte, Crème Eye Liner in Canard, Full Blown Volume Suprême Mascara in Black and Paint Wash Liquid Lip Colour in Nude Rose." I think I may splurge on it all. This will launch this month via Selfridges and nationwide this coming February. Prices range from £16-£45.

Excuse the terrible pun but isn't this sweet! "RMK has announced the launch of its limited edition Vintage Sweets make-up collection for SS15. The new Vintage Sweets Face Colour offers a translucent powder that contains pearls for a luminous finish. The four-shade face colour blends to control redness, dullness and uneven skin tone. Sweet Sugar Eyes, available in five shades, are two-shade eyeshadow palettes which provide a sheer finish with shimmer reminiscent of sugar. Other pieces in the collection include: Vintage Candy Cheeks, available in a subtle pink, red or a natural bronzing beige; Vintage Drop Gloss, a three-toned lip gloss which appears translucent on the lips and scented with aromas of sweets, flowers and fruit; Nail Colour in five shades, from Smoky Beige to Smoky Purple; Nail Art Liner in a choice of Smoky Beige and Smoky Grey; W Colour Mascara, a double-ended wand with two different shades for top and bottom lashes; and Ingenious Powder Eyes and Ingenious Powder Cheeks, both available in two shades." This will launch on the 22nd of January (via Selfridges) and prices will range from £15-£33.Twitter:

Get ready for one of the most beautiful nail polish collections of the year! "Dolce & Gabbana has announced the launch of Nail Restage, an enhanced collection of its nail care line with a refreshed palette of 41 shades directly inspired by the the colours seen on the Dolce & Gabbana catwalk. The range features 10 new and 31 existing shades arranged within six shade families: Nude/ Brown, Red, Pink, Purple/Plum, Green/ Blue and Sicilian Baroques. The shade palette of Nail Lacquer colours also offers precise colour matches with the Classic Cream Lipstick collection. Redesigned to reflect the refined tapered edges of The Foundation and Classic Cream Lipstick, the Nail Lacquer bottle has undergone a transformation. A new ergonomic design features a shorter wand to prevent lacquer from dripping, while a new inner cap allows for improved accuracy and control. The new brush features a rounded cut and 470 bristles to offer a smooth, effortless application with minimal streaking. The range is complemented by the Protective Base Coat, High Shine Top Coat and Matte Nail Coat." This will launch this month via Harrods and cost £19.50 per bottle.

A new fragrance launch this week "Penhaligon's has announced the launch of its latest fragrance, As Sawira. The scent is a further addition to the Trade Routes Collection and is inspired by the city Essaoiura. As Sawira opens with notes of bergamot and saffron, alongside herbal notes of absinthe and davana; while a bouquet of roses, carnation and jasmine meet labdanum and amber at the heart. The drydown of guaiac, sandalwood and patchouli is supported by oud and myrrh and sweetened by vanilla and musk." It will cost £150.
