Why? Valentines Day is just around the corner of course and with that there is an abundance of rose fragranced products at every turn. Very few compare to the indulgent Jo Malone Red Roses scent. If you purchase one rose scented product this year let it be from the Jo Malone range, I promise you won't regret it.
As regular readers will undoubtedly know, I went through a rose phase, everything for my body had to be scented by such bloom and then like most things I grew tired of such fragrance. That was until I was introduced to Jo Malone Red Roses - one whiff of this intense yet true to life fragrance and I was transported back to a happy sun soaked summer spent in Turkey and Bulgaria.
What sets this apart from your typical rose scent is the complexity of notes, which include a blend of seven of the world's most exquisite roses blended with crushed violet leaves and a hint of lemon. It's fresh yet deep and not at all powdery like some dated rose offerings. This is my second Jo Malone Red Roses Candle (yep I had to repurchase it is that good) I can vouch that it fills the room with a realistic floral fragrance within minutes and lingers for hours on end. If like myself you tend to light a few candles at once this is one of those few rare scents that layers well with both fruity and other floral fragrances - much like the original Jo Malone Red Roses Cologne. I personally like it burning alongside Jo Malone Blackberry and Bay Candle for deep, fruity aroma.
Send hits to your significant other now or heck treat yourself to this candle and/or the matching cologne, it will be around a lot longer than a bunch of red roses that is for sure!

This candle sounds lovely! I adore the smell of roses. I'm tempted to pick up a couple of Jo Malone products at duty free as I still need to try out their candles!

I absolutely love Jo Malone candles however the price always seems to put me off. I might just go for it as they smell amazing!

I would love to own a Jo Malone candle but I don't think I justify £40 for a candle - especially as a student! I like the ones by the Body Shop for a fruity fragrance! x

I hate the majority of rose scented candles as they remind of bathroom air freshener but I'm a little intrigued by this one. £40 does seem a little pricey for a candle though so maybe I'll just have to smell it in a store from time to time.
