Five Beauty Pinterest Accounts to Follow

Pinterest. Oh Pinterest, how did I procrastinate before thee (or Buzzfeed)?
More importantly how did I envision the perfect life before falling into your clutches.
Admit it deep down we are all prone to whittling away an afternoon or two "pinning" beautiful images be it crafty ideas, recipes or scenic images but did you know that there are some great beauty accounts to found too? Looking for hair inspiration or a simple yet effective make-up tutorial Pinterest has your back.

Now we all know the best way to do social media is on the go, nothing helps break up a boring commute than scrolling through Twitter or Pinterest. Personally I like to use a tablet of some sort to preserve my phone battery for the day. I was recently sent an Acer Iconia Tab 8 to try out and have to say I am more than impressed. It is compact, lightweight and has a great sized screen (and resolution for that matter). The Acer model not only looks the part but has a wonderful battery life, easily slots into my handbag so I can social media creep and/or work on the go without having to lug around a heavy laptop. It also doesn't hurt that the 8 inch screen means my short sighted self doesn't have to route around for my glasses to watch a movie when travelling. For your mobile convenience here are my top five accounts to follow...

George Northwood - My go to for hair inspiration, with lots of categorised boards you can bet you will find your not only your dream hair style, colour and the ideal image to take along to your stylist. At the moment I am swaying with chopping off my really long locks and/or dying my blonde hair a light brown. Decisions. Decisions.

The Beauty Department - All the tutorials be it make-up, hair or nails you can bet there is an easy step by step guide to follow and of course re-pin on this account. Now to master the French braid crown without looking like I have slept in it for a week.

Beauty Bets - From upcoming trends to gift ideas all the way through to natural beauty this set of boards has it all. I do however recommend following the DIY Beauty Board - there is nothing more satisfying than being able to rustle up a face mask or two in the comfort of your own kitchen.

Sephora - You can't really call yourself a beauty junkie and not follow Sephora on Pinterest. It is beauty blasphemy...well kinda! As you can imagine there is a board for everything including new beauty launches and easy peasy "How to's". Oh how I love Sephora!

CND - This one is for all those obsessed with nail art and upcoming nail trends - from all the latest shades to sneak peeks of what is going on behind the scenes come Fashion Week and general nail art inspiration you will find it here all neatly categorised for your convenience.

And because I am that guy and all about the self promotion you can find my Pinterest account here - link.

I was kindly gifted the Acer Iconia Tab 8 as mentioned above.
