As mentioned there are four new shades: Waunderlust - a light, milky mauve, Sweet Talk - an easy to wear light nude with grey undertones, Cheek to Cheek - a bright, carnation pink and Confess - a deeper, more traditional yet still muted nude tone. All four shades are perfect for the upcoming Spring season and the true matte finish really lends itself to nail art. I personally see the formulation and new shades as a modern take on traditional Spring hues.
If you happen to own the original Ciate Blackboard Nail Kit (see photo above) you could always use the nail pens to create fun, custom designs? The same applies for any nail art pen really, the possibilities are endless. On the same note, if one of the four new shades realy grabs your attention but perhaps you dislike matte nails, a quick coat of a glossy top coat can and will instantly change the finish of the polish.
The new Ciate Liquid Chalk Collection for Spring 2015 will launch this coming March and the polishes will retail for £9 each or can be purchases in duo packs for £15.

cheek to cheek is such a pretty colour :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not too sure about matte nails but It is a trend that I am willing to try out this year! Ciate is a brand that I have been hearing great stuff about and I am interested to give them a go.
Thank you for posting, hope you have a lovely day! ♥

I think these would be great if you're in to Nail Art but Im too lazy to do anything fancy with my nails & don't think I would get a lot of use from these

I'd never heard of these before but they sound amazing! I like that they dry so quickly. I love these shades too.

£9 seems a lot for a nail polish I have to say, but I do love the colours of these, and I have been looking for a decent matte for a while, so I may have to invest in one of these new beautiful shades..

I love the colour selection and collections that Ciate have and release, but I personally find the formula too thin and it often chips on me relatively quickly.

I love Ciate, they're my favourite ever nail polish brand, I own so many of those adorable bottles! I really like the sound of these, however I'd love to hear about their wear-time as their porcelain finish polish chips and flakes awfully! x

I really like the look of these. I tried matte nails varnishes a few years ago when Nails Inc first did some and they were pretty rubbish, they started chipping off almost immediately, but matte formula's are much better now so I'm more willing to try them. These look like really pretty colours for spring and I think matte is a good look for spring too x

i just got one but the formula is very thick, its almost like its been left open for awhile. Is that normal? is that what the formula is supposed to be like?
