Aveda Hand Relief Night Serum
Aveda Hand Relief Night Serum

Hand serum? Yes and why not, our hands are one of the first places that show signs of ageing and yet it the area so many of us seemingly forget to protect. Aveda Hand Relief Night Serum makes complete sense to me, we use serum on our faces for extra hydration, protection against ageing and of course to make any product applied on top so why not our hands too?

Aveda Hand Relief Night Serum has been formulated to to reduce the signs and for young skin types help prevent them from occurring in the future - prevention is better than a cure after all. It also works to reduce dark spots as well as evening out skin tone leaving the skin on the hands feeling and looking plumper by smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles.

The texture of the Aveda Hand Relief Night Serum is light and creamy based, it is not as fluid as a typical serum rather it reminds me of that of a body lotion. It is quickly absorbed by the skin and has no greasy residue, despite the silky texture it immediately hydrates the skin - more so than many hand creams I own. You can use Aveda Hand Relief Night Serum as a stand alone treatment or in the typical serum sense - a base for a hand cream to go on top off which couldn't be more perfect for dried out winter skin. I can't type up a review of the this hand serum and not quickly mention the beautiful lemon/citrus scent, it does somewhat linger on the skin but as this is intended for night use I can't see that being a problem for many.

If you have resolved to taking better care of your hands this year or simply want to step up your hand care routine this is the product for you. I keep mine on my bed side table and apply each night before bed and my hands are perfectly soft despite the cold and wet weather. I can't recommend it enough for dried out skin and hey who doesn't want to keep their skin looking youthful?
