L'Oreal Color Riche L'Extraordinaire Liquid Lipsticks touched down in the States late 2013 and I have eagerly awaited their UK launch. Well wait no more as L'Oreal Color Riche L'Extraordinaire Liquid Lipsticks will be stocked in the usual haunts (Boots, Superdrug etc) as of this month. My local Boots currently has them on display yet a larger store in town doesn't so it is worth calling ahead to avoid disappointment.

I'm prone to allergic reactions, more so in the last year or so and most notably on my face.
As a result I'm more cautious when it comes to skin care - gone are my teenage days (I say that like I'm approaching fifty not my mid twenties) of slapping on anything and hoping for the best. I take more care not only in reading ingredient lists but also ensuring that I have a stash of soothing products close to be me should I react adversely. Cue Mario Badescu Healing and Soothing Mask...

MAC's newest collection is of course MAC A Fantasy of Flowers which is a beautiful array of both bright pink, green hues paired with every day neutrals. It is very fitting for the first days of Spring without the need for over doing the pastel theme. I've had a few questions about the new MAC A Fantasy of Flowers Collection (mostly about swatches and stockists), typically I do like to take a few days to get a feel for a product but as I'm more than familiar with MAC Cosmetics I thought it would be for the best to get my posts live as soon as possible. That way anyone who has their eye on anything can get it with ease before it sells out but I do want to stress that today's MAC reviews are mostly based on past experiences with products of the same type.

The US have Maybelline The Buffs and here in the UK our answer is Maybelline Stripped Nudes, same concept just different names and maybe shades - I'm not all that sure. What you do need to know if you live in the UK is that five new nude hued Maybelline Colorsensational Lipsticks have hit most Maybelline counters and there is likely to be a shade for you!

I'm always harping on about the pitfalls of being blonde, I promise it isn't all doom gloom but one problem I have incurred along the way (along with having brow shade dilemmas) is finding a good self tanner. One that doesn't leave me orange or look bizarre with my golden locks. Sometimes blonde hair and self tanner can be troublesome but drawing inspiration from the ever beautiful Scandinavian blonde bloggers who have what I'm assuming is a natural tan, I have tried just about every self tanner out there and found one that all fellow blondes must try...

I have really fair eyebrows which is annoying for two reasons: a, I'm not naturally blonde so they have no right to be so light (in my minds eye at least) and b, finding a suited brow product that doesn't leave my brows looking nothing short of ridiculous is near impossible. At the moment I prefer tinted brow gels over everything else as they look so natural, stay in place for hours and are easy to use. My friend a fellow bottle blonde recommended I give MAC Brow Set in Beguile a whirl and so here we are...

Despite being one lazy lady when presented with liners be they for the lips or eyes I will normally always go for one you have to sharpen manually rather than a twist up style pencil. Why? I like a really sharp and firm point for precise lines which is something I find the twist up variant to lack. Well Smashbox have only went and reinvented the wheel haven't they with their new Smashbox Always Sharp Eye Liners - a twist up mechanical pencil that is self sharpening pretty cool non?

While raiding my sisters stash (hey it's a two way street baby) I stumbled across a tube of a face mask which looked suspiciously like my ever used and repurchased Origins Clear Improvement Mask, the only difference is that this version is made by Avon and of course marginally cheaper. Is it a dupe?

So the weather may suggest otherwise but we are nearly encroaching the Spring season here in the UK and I for one adore this time of the year. I often find that Spring make-up launches are fresher in colour scheme and very me and Tom Ford Beauty Spring 2014 is no different. Well that is a lie it is different in that the brand have skipped the now clichéd pastels that are showcase each Spring and instead went for a clean yet bright colour palette.

Having fell head over heels for Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Foundation (read my review here -link) I was rather keen to see if the love affair would continue with the concealer of the same name. At £5.99 Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Concealer will not break the bank but it will conceal both blemishes and undereye circles without caking or feeling heavy on the skin. I liken it to a firm favourite of mine MAC Pro Longwear Concealer only marginally cheaper (it is a 1/3 of the price of the MAC version). If you are looking for a do all concealer with a good wear time that is light on the pocket this is the one I recommend.

I would love to write a lifestyle type blog alongside The Sunday Girl but at the moment I am a little stretched for time but hopefully it is something I can look into in the near future. With that in mind I have just started a Tumblr account which I fully intend to update regularly with my own images.

Their vision is to re-discover the natural artistry of British perfumery and to develop a range of luxury fragrances, made in England which have been inspired by nature.
