The Daily Beauty Report (10.12.14)

The Daily Beauty Report (10.12.14)

Here is what is happening within the beauty world at the moment, I forewarn you now it is a fragrance heavy selection...

A new lip pencil launch this week "Beauty brand Green People has announced the launch of new Instant Definition Lip Crayons. Available in three natural shades, the crayons combine shea butter and baobab to help moisturise and soften lips while providing a soft and creamy texture. Shades include: Sangria (burnished red with copper tones), Praline (neutral earthy tone) and Blossom (floral pink)."They will cost £12.95 each.

I have already reviewed one of these beautiful fragrances already but here is the skinny! "Marni fragrances has announced the launch of its new Purse Sprays. Shaped like the Marni Bambolina Doll, when the perfume canister is turned, different outfits will show. The Purse Sprays are available in two scents: Marni Il Profumo EDP, which combines notes of cinnamon bark, cardamom, bergamot black pepper, pink peppercorn and ginger; and Marni Rose EDP, comprising notes of cardamom, mint Nanah, raspberry, violet, almond and cassis." They will cost £25 each and will launch via Harrods this week.

Micro Cell will be hitting the UK! "The brand specialises in creating products that are tailored to treat common nail conditions. The range consists of strengthening oils, repairing varnishes, cuticle care and protective coloured lacquers, along with an array of removers, buffers and professional files."
I love Spring purely for the fragrances and one of the scents I am rather excited about has to be the new Elie Saab launch! "Fashion house Elie Saab has announced the launch of its new limited edition fragrance, Le Parfum Resort Collection. Like the spring/summer couture collection, the new bottle mirrors the changing reflections of sunlight on the surface of water in shades of blue. Created by perfumer Francis Kurkdijan, the scent is fruit and floral, comprising notes of orange blossom, jasmine, frangipani flower and fig." This will launch 16th of February (House of Fraser) and then the 2nd of March (nationwide, £47/50ml EDT.

Another Spring fragrance to look forward to - "Issey Miyake Parfums has announced the launch of its new limited edition fragrance, L'Eau d'Issey City Blossom. Created by perfumer Alberto Morillas and designed by visual street artist Mademoiselle Maurice, the scent opens with pink peppercorn and citrus notes, with a hint of calon. Middle notes comprise osmanthus flowers, freesia and magnolia, while the base is made up of natural Virginia white cedar, dominated with notes of ambrox and white musk." This will launch on the 2nd of February and will cost £51.

In my opinion I have saved the last piece of fragrance news for last! "Fashion house Jimmy Choo has announced the launch of its new fragrance for SS15, BLOSSOM. The fruity and floral scent comprises top notes of citrus and red berries, a heart of sweet pea and rose and a base of white musk and sandalwood. Synonymous with the Jimmy Choo signature fragrance, the faceted bottle has been reinvented in fuchsia hues, capped with a diamond-inspired cap." I can not wait for this to launch on the 2nd of February.

Have a lovely evening everyone.
