The Daily Beauty Report (09.12.14)

La Roche-Posay Serozinc UK

Here is what is happening in the beauty world at the moment...

On Friday Boots Star Gift is of course the eagerly anticipated Soap and Glory show stopper "Beauty brand Soap & Glory has collaborated with London-based illustrator Hattie Stewart to launch The Next Big Thing Christmas Gift Set. Available in two designs, the gift comprises over £76 worth of product, including: Hand Dream super cream, Orangeasm body wash, Butter Yourself moisture lotion, Heel Genius foot cream, Sugar Crush body scrub, Whipped Clean shower butter, The Righteous Butter body butter, Off Your Face 3 in 1 daily purifying cloths, Sexy Mother Pucker lip shine lacquer in charm offensive and Thick & Fast super volume mascara." It will be £29 on Friday (12th) while stocks last and for one week only.

Valentine's Day releases already? Yep! "Bath and home fragrance brand Baylis & Harding has announced the launch of its limited edition Rhubarb & Vanilla Cream collection, launching for Valentine's Day 2015. Key gifts include the Heart Gift Box, comprising five products and the 5 piece Body Pamper Gift Set". It launches in February and will cost from £4-£40.

At last Seozinc hits the UK and in less than a month too! "French skincare brand La Roche-Posay has announced the UK launch of Serozinc, a zinc sulfate mist toner for oily, blemish-prone skin. Offering immediate anti-shine, anti-grease and pore tightening benefits, Seriozinc both purifies and soothes the feel of the skin. The product contains a distinct zinc sulphate and sodium chloride enriched, isotonic formula and is designed to be used as a second skincare step by spraying on after cleansing." It will launch on the 1st of January and cost £8.50.

Some new Rimmel launches this coming January/February. "Cosmetic brand Rimmel London has announced the launch of a number of new make-up products for face and eyes. New Lasting Finish Dual Finish 25HR Powder is a wet and dry powder foundation that applies like a powder but covers like a liquid, providing a buildable coverage. The ultra-fine, velvety powder applies evenly without clogging pores for a weightless, smooth and shine free finish. The new 9-in-1 BB Radiance Cream is formulated with shea butter to moisturise, while priming, smoothing, concealing, minimising the appearance of pores and brightening skin. The BB cream is available in three shades: very light, light and medium. Lasting Finish Primer aims to provide an extra eight hours of make-up wear, visibly blurring imperfections and minimising pores to help skin appear smoother and brighter. For the eyes, the new ScandalEyes XX-Treme Volume & Length Mascara features a two-sided dual-action brush that visibly thickens, lengthens and separates lashes for a false lash effect; while the new Exaggerate Smoke ‘n’ Shine Eyeliner combines an automatic pencil format with creamy formula, enabling easy control, precision and definition. The eyeliner also includes a built-in smudger, and is available in four shades: Little Black Smokey, Copper Bling, Purple Craze and Blue Steel, all providing super-saturated, luminous colour with a shiny gel-like finish."

A new store from Neom, "Wellbeing fragrance brand Neom Organics has announced the opening of its first concept flagship store in Wimbledon Village, London. Launched in 2005 by trained aromatherapist Nicola Elliot, the brand's range of home fragrance, bath and bodycare products use only the finest first-pressed essential oils to provide true therapeutic benefits. The products aim to combat mood-swings, sleep issues and stress, while helping users to stay calm and relax. The new store plans to host classes, tutorials, talks and more from a series of hand-picked Neom Wellbeing Experts, including fitness, nutrition and mindfulness, to offer all-encompassing and practical advice on improving wellbeing, while offering a unique shopping experience. Tucked away, customers will discover two private Wellbeing Treatment Rooms which will open in early 2015. Guests can experience specialist and expertly created Neom Wellbeing Treatments, delivered by a trained therapist and tailored to their specific need."

"Nail brand Nails inc has announced a collaboration with Victoria Beckham to launch a limited edition duo of nail polishes developed to sit alongside the Victoria, Victoria Beckham SS/15 collection. The polishes have been inspired by the feel of the collection and its subtle incorporation of Japanese elements, while featuring a new exclusive formulation with Stretch-To-Fit technology and bamboo extract with silica. The new formula provides a smooth application, builds healthy nails while regaining their natural shine and reduces nail ridges and imperfections. Presented within a sleek new bottle, designed by Fabien Baron and customised by Victoria, shades include: JUDO RED (vibrant tomato) and BAMBOO WHITE (bone)." They launched online yesterday and will be available nationwide as of Febuary. I do have samples which I will review in full tomorrow.

Have a lovely evening everyone.
