Origins Plantscription Anti-Ageing Power Eye Cream

Origins Plantscription Anti-Ageing Power Eye Cream only popped onto counters two days ago and last night I finished my tube so it only seemed fitting that I posted my review. Admittedly it is not aimed at my age group (I was told 30+) but as my skin really seems to enjoy Origins products I couldn't see the harm in trying it out. It has quickly become my night eye cream of choice and one I am in a hurry to purchase in the coming days, as someone who is a self proclaimed eye cream addict this is no mean feat.

"New Plantscription™ Anti-aging power eye cream See fewer lines in just 2 weeks. We powered up our most potent anti-ageing formula with legendary eye experts Chamomile and Algae. Now pumped up for fragile eye skin, this highly-hydrating cream absorbs instantly to help visibly reduce lines and wrinkles in just 2 weeks. With continued use, you’ll see sagging, crêpey lids and crow’s feet appear to disappear."

I will say from the get go I can not comment on the reduced line or wrinkle aspect but I hope you won't hold that against me? Why do I like Origins Plantscription Anti-Ageing Power Eye Cream so much? Off the bat it is a rich yet lightweight formula, a creamy consistency that is light and quickly absorbed by the skin. Yes it is deeply nourishing but it does not clog the pores nor will it be troublesome for those like myself who suffer from Milia. Thanks to the addition of Chamomile I find that Origins Plantscription Anti-Ageing Power Eye Cream not only hydrates my skin but soothes and refreshes the eye area. It doesn't irritate my quick to water eyes, leaves my eye area looking fresh, all the while with the added anti-ageing benefits - prevention is better than a cure after all. I also found that it does have a lifting and tightening effect which I'm sure some will be more than happy to hear about. My only gripe is that when used twice a day Origins Plantscription Anti-Ageing Power Eye Cream does not last long at all - at £36 I'm sure most will see this as a skin care investment and baulk at having to replace their tube every six weeks or so. That aside I am a huge fan and will be purchasing another bottle in the coming days.
