Radical Hydrating Cleanser

I promised to strip back my skin care routine and I have, unsurprisingly my skin has improved as I wasn't slapping on several products daily and sticking to what my skin seemingly enjoys. For the record my current go to morning cleanser is Antipodes Hallelujah Lime and Patchouli Cleanser and for the evenings it is Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm. Both of which I have been trailing for a few weeks now and will review in full come January. Anyway a few days ago I was away from home and for reason unbeknown to me I packed Radical Hydrating Cleanser over my regular choices. I somewhat panicked as I have only just began to get my skin on track and truly did worry that throwing a new cleanser into the mix for a few days could be catastrophic...did I ever mention I tend to over exaggerate?

Anyway if you have dehydrated or dry skin you need to splurge on the Radical Hydrating Cleanser. I won't pretend for one moment at £30 a tube that it is cheap but it is nothing short of wonderful. When I first saw the tube design for the Radical Cleanser I assumed it would be a gel or balm like textured cleanser which I do favour, rather it is a light, silky fluid liquid that instantly soothes and calms the skin. I guess it could be best described as a cleansing milk? To use, you simply apply to dry skin, massage in and then rinse off using warm water - I personally use a facial cloth to ensure all traces of the cleanser. Unlike some cleansers this is exceptionally easy to remove, it doesn't require several rinses to ensure all traces are gone nor does it leave behind any residue. It doesn't foam either which is nothing but great news for dry and/or dehydrated skin.

What is rather genius about Radical Hydrating Cleanser is that it not only cleanses but tones and hydrates the skin too! It is non-drying and non-irritating along with being packed with anti-ageing technology. Truthfully I do think the anti-ageing claim is a stretch as I'm not sure anything you rinse off can really repair or prevent ageing but then again I am no expert. If you are looking for a cleanser that is gentle yet effective this is the one it cleanse, tone and hydrate in one quick step leaving the skin feeling plump, hydrated and well cleansed. Perfect if you want a minimal skin care routine or like myself only remember to grab one product when packing. Whoops! What is really interesting is that research has shown that with continuous the Radical Hydrating Cleanser can increase skin hydration up to 30% in 2 weeks which can only be good news for dry and dehydrated skin types. Radical also claim that it promotes cell turnover and renewal for a brighter complexion, that I have yet to see that but it is early days for me. All I can say is I am tempted to forgo all other cleansers and make this my go to Winter cleanser. A big claim yes but it really is that great a formula. If you have dry or dehydrated skin I urge you to give this a go.

I will update with a full review in the coming months, once I have finished the entire tube but so far it is a huge thumbs up from me!
