Mario Badescu Eye Make Up Remover Cream

A mini review today as well there is not really any need for a huge in-depth review of an eye make-up remover. It either works or it doesn't! So does Mario Badescu Eye Make Up Remover Cream work? Yes. Do I like it? Meh.

Okay Mario Badescu Eye Make Up Remover Cream does exactly what it claims to on the tin, gently removes most (I say most as it wasn't great with waterproof mascara) without much effort. The problem for me is the texture - a thick gel, that is cooling but not anything at all alike to a melting balm cleanser which I foolishly assumed it would be. I worry with such heavy texture that should it not be properly removed it could lead to Milia which I am prone to. The ingredient list reads pretty similar to that of a cold cream (it is also laden with parabens) and if I am entirely honest preforms in the same way.

My other issue is that unlike the vast majority of eye make-up removes you have to remove Mario Badescu Eye Make Up Remover Cream with either an abundance of water or a separate cleanser. So in essence you have to double cleanse the eye area each and every time - cool if you have a lot of make-up on but for a coat or two of mascara it seems entirely unnecessary. On the plus side it is well priced, a little goes a long way and the creamy texture does prevent it from being harsh on such a delicate area. I am not a convert but will admit that I have tried worse.
