Dolce & Gabbana Velvet Desire Candle

Dolce & Gabbana Velvet Desire Candle

We all know someone who enjoys nothing more than a beautiful candle and what could be more luxe than a Dolce & Gabanna Candle? Not only are they beautifully scented (four scents to choose from or collect which I intend on doing!) but presented in such a luxe way that you can't help feel a little special for owning one. The divine gold packaging is perfectly festive at this time of the year yet classic in design so that it can be displayed and burned all year round.

"The art of perfumery and the richness of its history and culture lie at the heart of the Velvet Collection and its candles. The evocative, sensuous scents trigger memories of faraway destinations and emotions through an olfactory journey in the comfort of your own home. The warm embrace of Sicily and the Mediterranean - the heart of the Dolce & Gabbana world - unfolds with the simple, eternal gesture of lighting a candle that releases and disperses a lingering aromatic emotion."

I was kindly gifted the Velvet Desire Dolce and Gabbana Candle which draws inspiration not only from Italy but apparently it is reminiscence of the Renaissance. If you like full on floral scents that are some what sensual this is the scent be in a candle or stand alone eau de parfum for you. Dolce & Gabbana Velvet Desire is a blend of white floral notes such as gardenia, tuberose and frangipani. It manages the impossible being intense yet delicate at the same time. It goes without saying that the scent throw is incredible, it is one of those few candles that you can just leave the lid off and you can detect let alone light it. At £60 I won't pretend for one moment that it is cheap but they don't come much more luxurious that is for sure!
