What's New at Clinique for 2015

Clinique have three new launches all of which I couldn't wait to share, I will of course update in the future with full reviews but for now here is a sneak peek of what is to come!

What's New at Clinique for 2015

Clinique Foaming Sonic Facial Soap £14 via Feel Unique - link
Say hello to the first ever cleanser that has specifically created for use with any cleansing brush ! Yes Clinique did have it in mind to be used with their Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleaning Brush but it can be used with any facial brush - even manual ones. The light, creamy almost balm like texture helps the bristles of the facial brush glide across the skin while the non-stripping foaming action aids the removal of trapped dirt and sebum. I have only tested this once  so far (last night) and have to say I am impressed - I don't normally use foaming cleansers as I find them to be harsh and drying but this was really gentle and I do feel combined with the brush I got a deeper cleanse. I shall of course continue to use the Clinique Foaming Sonic Facial Soap and update in the coming weeks.

Clinique Repairwear Sculpting Night Cream £42 from January 2015
As someone with really oily skin I do have to be careful with what I place on my skin and the most trying area of skincare does seem to be night cream. Most night targeted products tend to have a heavier and altogether creamier texture which my skin can not absorb. Enter Clinique Repairwear Sculpting Night Cream a light almost gel like night repair cream which quickly sinks into the skin hydrating and over time helping to define the natural contours of the face. There is of course lots more to it than that but in laymen's terms it firms, repairs and protects. I think this may be a keeper, expect a full in-depth review in a month or so but so far I can see this being a key product in my routine.

Clinique Blended Face Powder in Snowflake Dreams £23 (on counter/site this month)
Clinique's Christmas collection is the entirely beautiful - The Nutcracker Suite which has of course been inspired by the ballet of the same name. Think sugary sweet pink hues coupled with scrumptious pops of plum. Nothing in my opinion quite says ballet and oddly the festive period like the Clinique Blended Face Powder in Snowflake Dreams - a candy pink glitter/shimmer flecked powder that has been intended for use of the face and body. Don't let the bright pink shade of this powder put you off as it quickly blends out and becomes colourless with only oodles of shimmer on the skin. It is utterly beautiful dusted on to the  chest or legs for a little festive cheer or of course can be used in place of your regular face highlighter/illuminator!
