Tom Ford, the Rolls Royce of the lipstick world. Well say hello to 36 new lipstick shades, yes a whopping thirty six! In total the Tom Ford The Lips and Boys collection features 50 lipsticks in total - 36 new shades, 10 from the Velvet Suede collection and four are from previous seasons. Whatever way you look at it that is a whole lot of lipstick!

Each shade is named after a significant male within Mr.Ford's life (from his son, husband, nephew and anyone else who has made their mark) which is something rather out of the norm. I'v lost count of how many lipsticks I have that feature a female moniker but a male title? Unheard of! I rather like that a whole lot of us lipstick wearers will be able to purchase an almost personalised lipstick, perhaps one as a nod to your husband, boyfriend, son et al? Very clever and a sweet concept at its core.

All the lipsticks within the Tom Ford The Lips and Boys Collection are in fact miniature in stature (almost half the size of a typical Tom Ford lipstick) and being dubbed clutch side. They are a great size for daily use and a good way to try a shade out with your comfort zone from the brand. The Tom Ford The Lips and Boys Collection is split into 10 colour families and will be sold separately. You can however choose to purchase a few in order to get a gift box to store them within. The dream really would be to own all 50 but unless I win the lottery tonight that is just not a reality.

Each Tom Ford The Lips and Boys lipstick will cost £22 each and will launch as a flash sale later this month before going in-store on December the 26th. I am hoping to update with a full shade list later today so do stay posted!
