Tom Ford Carnal Red Nail Lacquer Review

Tom Ford Carnal Red Nail Lacquer

Let's face it Tom Ford cosmetics is not something the vast majority of us will purchase on a whim, it in an investment and more than a treat. For that reason when it comes to Tom Ford cosmetics I do tend to only purchase staple shades, items I know I'll get a whole lot of use from.

As vacuous as it may sound the packaging of all Tom Ford Nail Lacquers are insanely beautiful, it is tempting to save up, purchase a few and display them. Silly I know but nothing quite says high end like Tom Ford now does it?

Slick outer aside this polish delivers where it matters the most: a great sized and shaped brush - that coats the nail evenly and quickly, a glossy formula that dries quickly and is not quick to chip. Admittedly Tom Ford Carnal Red Nail Lacquer is not as creamy or as opaque as the other Tom Ford nail colours I have tried in the past, it does require three coats for full coverage which won't be for everyone due to time restrictions. We also do have to address the fact that Tom Ford Carnal Red is just a fairly run of the mill, classic "find it anywhere" red! Most will have something similar if not identical and for that reason will find it difficult (and rightly so) to part with close to £30 on nail polish. If you like red nail polish, wear it frequently and want something a little more high end to add to your collection this could be the one.
