Here is what is happening in the beauty world at the moment...

"KIKO Milano have announced the launch of Haute Punk, its 2014 Christmas collection. The range combines punk elements with haute couture luxury, harnessing metal studs and bright colours with brushed gold and silver. Products in the collection include:Beauty Apotheosis, a two level make-up palette containing six eyeshadows, contour, blush, eye applicator, face brush and mirror;Hypnotic Gaze Mascara-Eyeliner Duo, a duo mascara-eyeliner available in two shades; Mirror Patch Nail Lacquer, 16 easy to apply nail wraps shaped to fit different nail sizes and style; So Stylish Nail Lacquer Set, a set of eight limited edition glossy nail lacquers; Rebel Temptation Nail Art Set, an exclusive nail art kit that contains everything needed from polish to tools and caviar beads; Punk Seduction Gleaming Body Butter, an iridescent balm; Precious Touch Shimmering Body Oil, a nourishing dry body oil that instantly illuminates skin; Lip Seduction Set, sets that each contain a different scented lip scrub and kiss balm; and Eau de Toilette Set, two fragrances: Haute Flower and Visionary." Both will launch this week and prices range from £6.90-£25.90.

I hope you have been saving those pennies? "Sarah Chapman Skinesis has announced a collaboration with crystal brand Lalique to launch a limited edition bottle of its Overnight Facial. The bottle features a crystal dual flower, and for the first time is available in a 50ml size. The product is fragranced with an essential oil blend of jasmine, frangipani, rose and tuberose and works to firm and lift the skin, leaving it looking plump and rejuvenated. The Overnight Facial serum provides the skin with transformative facial-like effects overnight and contains the signature cocktail of potent antioxidants, vitamins, omega oils, skin-brightening complex and essential oils." The limited edition bottle is available exclusively at Harrods for two weeks only and costs a whopping £485. Gulp.

All I can see is visions of a beautiful snow queen when I look at this collection! "Swedish beauty brand FACE Stockholm have announced the launch of its Holographic 2014 and spring 2015 make-up collections, as well as its Marine Therapy skincare line. The Holographic collection (pictured above) has been designed to emulate the effect of a diamond or prism, comprising: Lyster Lipstick, which intensifies colour and shine of a lip pencil or gloss; and Lipgloss #67, an iridescent gloss for high shine and colour. The spring 2015 colour palette comprises dusky shades across products including: BB Natural Beauty Balm, Stockholm Créme Blush, Lemon Matte Eye Shadow, Presence Eye Dust, Ego Eye Dust, Cream Eye Shadow, Clear Brow Fix, Water Resistant Mascara, Frida Eye Pencil and Ladakh Lipstick. Skincare products within the Marine Therapy line include: Seaweed Cleanser, Toner, Moisturiser, Night Cream and Eye Cream."The Holographic collection launches this month with the skin care following in February! Prices range from £15-£33.

One to pencil in the diary for January. "Weleda will launch their Arnica Muscle Soak with lavender and rosemary, a new bath milk with arnica flower extract and birch. Both ingredients help aid recovery during times of over-exertion and weariness. The product is ideal for post skiing, an intense gym session or simply to relax, containing calming essential oils to elevate mood. Arnica Muscle Soak is available now online and will be in-stores nationwide in January." It will be available via Boots for £12.95.

A touch of affordable iindulgencefor November! "Skincare brand Melvita has announced the launch of L'Argan Bio Body, a new collection comprising Body Oil-In-Cream, Velvet Hand Cream and Gentle Shower Gel. The body cream is delicately scented and enriched with sunflower oil and beeswax to help rebuild the hydrolipidic film, making it ideal for dry and dehydrated skin. The hand cream contains shea butter, sunflower oil and beeswax, as well as natural silica to provide an instantly smooth and velvety feel. The shower gel, available online only, is formulated with a sulphate-free, botanical cleansing base and contains essential fatty acids to work with the skin's natural protective barrier, leaving skin moisturised. Also launching is Eau de Toilette L'Or Bio, comprising notes of Italian bergamot and fig tree leaf, blended with Virginian cedar, vanilla and benzoin, rounded off with a woody base." This launches this month and costs £14-£36.

Oh gosh, yes please! My Burberry is my current staple scent, it is safe to say I am obsessed with it. "Burberry Beauty have announced the launch of My Burberry bath and body. Each product in the range features the My Burberry fragrance, which comprises top notes of sweet pea and bergamot, heart notes of geranium leaf, golden quince and freesia, and a base of patchouli and rain-tipped damask and centifolia roses. Products include: Shower Oil, enriched with almond oil to gently cleanse and nourish skin; Body Mist, a lightweight formula that is easily absorbed; and Deodorant, a spray mist to help keep the body feeling fresh." This will launch this month and cost from £28-£38.
