Revlon have quickly become my go to mascara brand (seriously try the Revlon Photo Ready 3D Volume Mascara and/or Revlon Lash Potion Mascara By Grow Luscious) so it was only natural that I gravitate towards their liners too! Newly acquired is Revlon's ColorStay Skinny Liquid Liner - a liquid liner with such a fine tip for precision that it can be used to draw the most intricate patterns and/or lines on the skin.
Much like all liquid liners the Revlon ColorStay Skinny Liquid Liner comes in a small pot complete with a long, thin handle which of course houses the brush. The brush is actually a micro fine felt applicator (0.1mm to be precise) which is firm so you can draw super fine lines yet soft and flexible so you can apply pressure and create thicker lines should you need to. The long handle really makes application easily and as someone with hooded eyes the teeny tiny tip is a complete blessing. At the moment there is only one shade Black Out which is a true, deep black that applies glossy yet quickly dries to a matte finish - the good news is that once dry it doesn't flake or crumble but is easily removed with make-up remover or cleanser. As an utter bonus this dries in lightening speed time meaning you don't have to worry about it transferring on to your brow bone - tell me I'm not alone in this problem?
The selling point of Revlon Colorstay Skinny Liquid Liner aside from the brush (which may be the only liquid liner in which I can actually achieve winged liner with) is the wear time of the formula. In the past I have all but given up on liquid liners of this type as they didn't last the test of time on my skin - they either smudged or worse crumbled off a few hours after being applied. I kid you not when I say that Revlon Colorstay Skinny Liquid Liner does not budge nor does it fade in any shape or form. You can apply this at 7am and come 11pm it is still going strong. How do I know? Well that has been my routine for the last few days and I couldn't be more impressed - the rest of my make-up may need touched up throughout the day but the Revlon Colorstay Skinny Liquid Liner stays put all day and night.
If black liquid liner is a staple in your kit make this your next purchase.

My all time favourite eye liner is the original Revlon ColourStay (it has a slightly bigger brush which I think is easier for someone a bit clumsy like me). Revlon is definitively a winner though. Great post, love the photos

I stopped using liquid liner as it didn't last too. Completely sympathize with getting in on your brow bones! x

This sounds like the perfect liquid liner! I've never really experimented with liquid liner and only usually apply liner to my water line but I'll bare this in mind if I do ever decide to invest in one xx
