Kiss the Moon Oils

Ask most what they look forward to the end of the day and I'm guessing a good nights sleep will be the go to answer of the majority (unless like me it is the contents of the fridge ha!). It may be the firm favourite answer but how many of us can say that we get a great nights sleep each night? I'm not talking about the Sunday lie in but regular weekdays. Well never fear there is a new skin and body care brand on the scene which aims to help you have a great slumber each night be it a sleep Sunday or a manic Monday.

Kiss the Moon Oils

Each product within the Kiss the Moon range are comprised of 100% oils which are of course free from parabens, harsh chemicals and of course artificial fragrances. As each skin type and needs for that matter are different the brand have an extensive line up of products to ensure that there is something for everyone. Perhaps part of your evening wind down routine is a long, hot bath before bed? If so the Kiss the Moon Bath Oils in one of three scents would best suit. Each bath oil is a blend skin softening coconut, jojoba and white tea seed oil combined with other oils depending on the variant you purchase. There is Dream After Dark which features lavender which is renowned for being gentle and its balancing qualities (more important when it comes to skin care), chamomile for easing away aches and pains, bergamot to uplift and lastly cedarwood to calm. There is also Glow After Dark which contains geranium and myrrh to heal and rebalance the skin. This is an easy to absorb blend of vitamin A, B and E featuring rich coconut nut, jojoba and white tea seed oils to deeply nourish and moisturise overnight leaving your skin silky soft. Lastly we have Love After Dark which is a rose based blend containing  Rose Absolute oil and Ylang Ylang work together at cell level to help skin of all ages keep its youthful look and feel, as well as being somewhat balancing. In my opinion when it comes to the bath oil go for which ever scent most appeals to you but for skin care is slightly more target specific. Combined with warm water the Kiss the Moon bath oils feel luxurious and leave the skin feeling conditioned and certainly do help to unwind before hitting the hay.

Kiss the Moon Oils

The Kiss the Moon skin care line is slightly different from the bath oils, again there is three variants but in place of Dream After Dark we have Calm After Dark which has of course been created to soothe and calm the skin. It contains Jasmine Absolute to calm the mind alongside soothing Roman Chamomile, Sandalwood and Ylang Ylang to help you relax. As for the skin benefits we have a vitamin A loaded Rosehip Seed oil based concoction , which has been proven to improve skin’s moisture levels and minimise the appearance of wrinkles. Personally I would recommend this to those with a dry complexion or those looking for an anti-ageing facial oil. The other two variants can be found above and offer the same benefits for the face as they do the body. You will be pleased to know that the facial oils are not only moisturising, nourishing and quickly absorbed (it is a rather light oil) but they do not cause my skin to break out - sometimes my skin freaks out with natural oils but this was not the case. The aromatherapy aspect is practically great when applied to the face as you breathe in the oils directly. For an extra moisturising treat you can also combine a little oil with your night cream or even a body lotion if feeling particularly fancy.
