Clinique Deep Comfort Collection

Admittedly Glasgow is having a fairly mild Winter all things considered. That doesn't mean that the central heating hasn't been blaring away nor have we escaped windy conditions both of which can result in dry skin. If like myself you have fairly sensitised and dry skin on your body and hands the Clinique Deep Comfort Collection could be just what you are looking for. Now the Clinique Deep Comfort Collection is pretty extensive so I have whittled it down to my favourite products...

Clinique Deep Comfort Collection

No pun intended (okay a little) but who is guilty of neglecting their hands? Yeah me too, up until recently (a few months ago) my hand care routine mostly revolved around rubbing in the excess of facial moisturiser. If like myself you require hand creams to be fuss free, quick to absorb, non-greasy and most importantly deeply hydrating Clinique Deep Comfort Hand and Cuticle Cream is the way to go. A rich yet lightweight hand cream which is fragrance free, gentle yet effective and a dream for keeping the cuticles soft. I also rather like that it is only 75ml - sizeable enough that you won't be replenishing weekly yet small enough to pop in a handbag.

Perhaps my favourite two products from the range have to be Clinique Deep Comfort Body Wash and the coordinating body butter. Most Winters my skin seems to suffer from eczema more so than the rest of the year which does mean I tend to switch to E45 products. There is nothing wrong what so ever with such brand but the products are very basic and the shower soap does nothing for me. Enter Clinique Deep Comfort Body Wash, a rich, again non-scented, creamy body wash that deeply cleanses the skin without being stripping and with the added bonus of extra hydration. What is not to like? I have said numerous times I am a lackadaisical body moisturiser, I do it when I need to rather than daily. Frankly I can't be bothered but come the colder months I do have to step things up to stop my skin from becoming itchy and broken. Most body butters are scented which is great if you like that sort of thing otherwise it can be annoying, especially since most fragrance free body moisturisers are body lotions which I don't find all that hydrating. Clinique Deep Comfort Body Butter is the answer to my woes - thick yet quickly absorbed, super hydrating yet non-greasy and a little goes a long way. I may just make body moisturising a daily occurrence if it is that easy!
