Last night I had the utter pleasure of attending a super girlie beauty sleepover that my friend Laura organised along with other buddies Lori, Lisa, Sami, Roisin and Ruth. All amazing ladies that I highly recommend checking out. The biggest surprise of the night was not only learning about Benefit's newest launch but also getting to try it out and take one home. Let's say hello to Benefit Puff Off shall we?
Benefit Puff Off will not be launching until January so for now my thoughts are very much preliminary but I will of course do a follow up post nearer the official launch updating on overall results etc. So yes Benefit Puff Off a super cutely packaged eye gel that has been designed to instantly smooth out fine lines, de-puff as well as cooling and soothing the area. As you can see the applicator tip is shaped like an iron which is of course a nod to smoothing out lines much like you do with creases on clothing but it isn't just for the novelty factor. The angled iron shaped nozzle is the perfect shape as size for ease of use when applying to a fairly tricky area such as the eye. The nozzle allows for precision while the metal tip cools and massages - it really is a treat to use!
As mentioned I have literally only used this twice so I have still to properly gauge my thoughts on the product. I can however say that in my opinion it feels like a primer come eye cream which I feel the market is currently lacking. Benefit Puff Off has a light, gel yet almost silicone (much lighter than Benefit Porefessional) like texture which is quickly absorbed into the skin, it cools and fills as well as having a tightening and lifting effect. It is really easy to use and fairly hydrating and can be used under, over or without make-up. I was also told it can be used along with an eye cream as a serum. The good news is that it is really gentle and my easily irritated skin and eyes for that matter seemed to rather enjoy it.
Benefit Puff Off won't launch until January but if you are looking for something to gently smooth, de-puff and cool the eye area this is worth the wait!

I love the novelty of this! I'm in the market for a new eye cream! x
ReplyDeleteDoes it have SPF? It sounds interesting, but it'll probably be a tad overpriced, as most Benefit products are. ;)

This looks pretty cute, it's not something I'd typically go for as I don't have much of an issue with fine lines (yet) but I think in the future I'd definitely be interested! x

My eye area is my biggest "problem area" so this appeals to me instantly. It's rare that I wake up without puffy eyes, so I can't wait to hear more about this.
